They are both victims. Peters encouraged to snitch on Henry and whatever he does is okay cuz hes the good one. Really hes a victim of brainwashing, no real thoughts of his own. Hopefully, they both grow out of there issues when they get older, rather than be like there petty mean parents

The more clips I watch of this show, the more I feel so sorry for Henry. He isn't horrid. Peter is insufferable and their parents are horrible and they clearly favour him over Henry.

Growing up watching this show, it feels like Henry isn't even that horrid in most of the episodes, he's just mischievous. In fact, his parents are more terrible than he is. They practically favour their son Peter over Henry, which is something that parents shouldn't do. And Francesca (Henry's mum) is abusive as hell, as she just wants to punish Henry, even when he didn't do anything wrong, such as her telling Henry off for eating all the sweets, and she refused to hear him out, and there's that one episode where she left Henry home without realising most of the time. Simon (Henry's dad) is almost just bad, although I suppose in some episodes he kinda cared for Henry, but he is probably afraid of getting in trouble with his wife. Therefore, Peter and Henry are just misunderstood children who have terrible parents.

Peter does have a deeply-buried bad side. He can show it if provoked enough, like if he's taunted. The only reason it's hidden is because he and Henry are growing up in an abusive household. He even drew a picture of him with his family. But guess who was separate from his family? None other than Henry. But, he's also quite manipulative in some aspects. As he did feign crying to get Henry in further trouble, as seen at 12:24. Look very closely at his face at 12:35.

I never saw this much as a kid but nowadays I feel sorry for Henry. Whatever he was doing I'm sure he meant it well. The parents were unfair and harsh towards making him do things he doesn't want to do and Henry feels like he's been cast aside especially in the earlier seasons whereas in the newer ones he's more behaved. I'm sure Henry will grow up with trust issues. Peter in the new episodes is a lot more manipulative even lying to get what he wants or doing something and Henry automatically getting the blame, Psychologically, Peter has twigged that if I do something good I can get away with everything under the table and will grow up thinking he can do that when one day he'll learn the hard way that's not the case in life. Especially blabbing to the world how horrid Henry is and all the thing's he's done and have his parents back him up. So much for his spotless record he has tried and tested to no avail to set Henry up when all he's doing is showing Peter that life can be hard whilst doing a good deed.
