Переглядів 18 тис.12 років тому
Morning practice (Smart phone video/audio) with Steve Alcott track "Borrowed Angel', on my new Show Pro steel guitar.
The best! Great talking with you today!
Fabulous!
John you are one of the best Pedal Steel players that ever hung around Oklahoma any time period!
That is good John
Great playing
Beautifully played my friend! You're a real inspiration to me!
And that is how you take a great song and completely own it! That was incredible, just wow!!
Absolutely gorgeous!! Gave me chills!! Made me want to learn this song! If only I knew what the song was!! Aaaggghh!!!
Amazing.. I was telling my wife about you. Glad I was able to find you on you tube. Keep it up. Good vibes to you Sir. TNPC. Lance.
Ah...if only I could play like that!!!
Great playing beautiful music!
Gorgeous tone and playing. My GFI Ultra SD10 4x5 just doesn't have this tone. I tried multiple amps and switched pickup to a Lawrence 705. Still too bright and lacks mids without a harsh tone. Still working on it. Other steels I own are fine. Scratching my head on that.
Very nice John.
Wow!!...
Great, John! Miss making music with you!!!
Very Nice John, One of my Favorites !
Very nice pickin' . Are you having trouble breathing or is sound from something else. Hope u r okay. We need more pedal steel players. Love it...
Lovely rendition, John! That Zum sounds terrific.
Pedal still guitar o som mais lindo que existe
SON!!!!
Did you sell it, or is it still available
Beautiful playing John. One of my favorites for pedal steel guitar.
Nicely done John. Enjoy your playing. Please post what amps you use and recording gear. Thanks for sharing.
Wowsa!
Fine! Would have liked it even more if the video showed feet and knees, as well. That's some fancy pickin! Thanks!
I love this version so much it hurts me.
wow outstanding john just great :)
John, nice work and great tone. You played it beautifully.
Absolutely wonderful! One of my favorite jazz standards, played masterfully.
Sounds great, John, and your playing is beautiful! :)
Well, Sir, if i may be so bold as to say...... I am quite the Lloyd Green fan and a Steel Purist in every sense of the word...Thinking a classic like Mel Street's Borrowed Angel could never be improved on...... But i gotta tellya, that was some of the sassiest, stylized, organized, and colorized playing i have ever seen/heard..... I totally enjoyed it..... And i think ima listen again, just for the helluvit.... ;) Congrats and kudos to you!
This is some real steel guitar playing. Outstanding.
thats awesome!
Awesome job my friend! (I'm loving the derby I bought from you!)
Awsome love you play this song. Where can I get these backing tracks
Sounds great, nice tone from that show pro. if you don't mind little constructive criticism, I can hear a little string rattle on a few occasions. From one steely to another!
+Jason Lynch Let's hear your version.
Yes, we're all waiting.
incredible!
Awesome
Very tasty John, It was a pleasure to share the same stage with you in the MOR days with Tom. Nice to see you didn't fall into the Gantek "Flight Of The Bumblebee" licks like Ray would play. Cheers!
John, not to embarrass you, but you are probably the best musician I know. I will be forever thankful to have you as a friend. Loco Tomas.
Awesome John! Pretty guitar too!
Great Job! John
