    I've kind of figured out for myself that when I stop caring about what the end result of an interaction could be, I become so much more confident and able to talk to anyone. I, myself, and probably a bunch of other people have problems with just overthinking what has or could happen and just being more carefree could benefit so many people, myself included.

    I’ve been going to the gym for a year and a half I made loads of progress in my first year but over the last few months I’ve made barely any progress and when I lift now I feel extremely sick and out of breath despite the fact I work a physical labour job and am fine walking around all day and carrying heavy stuff. Idk what to do man I my bench hasn’t increased despite me training rlly hard I keep doing 80kg for same reps every sesh and I can’t increase im rlly loosing motivation for the gym

    • @Ben-Saunders
      @Ben-Saunders 2 місяці тому

      First of all bro make sure your not unwell, if your getting sick when you lift and not making any progress there could be something serious underlying. Give your body a rest from the gym with a deload or rest week and then during that week hopefully you can recover well enough and also it could be your diet which is why you aren’t seeing any progress so make sure your eating in a slight calorie surplus and getting enough protein in. Then when you get back to the gym take it easy as you settle back in, it might be that your going too often to the gym or you’ve just gotten bored of doing the same thing so rework your training plan if that’s the case. Your bench won’t go up if you’re only training it at the same weight. I made a vid on how to get a stronger bench a few weeks ago so that could be helpful to you. Don’t stress too much that your not making progress bro if you know that exercise is a core component of your life and how important the gym is you will be going to the gym for as long as you can. Try figure out what it is that is holding you back and make adjustments and see how they change your progress. I hope this helps brother. Lmk if you need help with anything else.

      I was also really unconfident when I first started brother so don’t get yourself down. You are confident enough I’m watching your video now you have what it takes all you need is practice and consistency. The more you do it the better you will become but what helped me was having a script wether that be just talking points about the video topic or everything I was saying written down to help me have conviction in what I’m saying. This helped me massively. Also with the power of editing you can cut out all the parts where you’re not talking which means you can have breaks in between talking to regain your composure or decide what you are going to say next. Make sure you are also looking straight at the camera when you are talking and it will make you come across a lot more confident. Hope this helps you brother.

    • @Ben-Saunders
      @Ben-Saunders 3 місяці тому

      You won’t actually build much muscle doing the Adonis workout that’s the thing you need to be training hypertrophy. If you want a warrior physique it would be better to achieve that in the gym. So for hybrid you could train 3 days a week in the gym doing push pull legs and then every other day you could go on a run with a rest day on Sunday for recovery then you could also add other things in there like swimming and cycling if you want to train fully hybrid which would mean you could pair swimming or biking with a day you go to the gym.

    • @Ben-Saunders
      @Ben-Saunders 3 місяці тому

      1. Make sure your room is almost pitch black and is cool when you go to bed this will help you get to sleep a lot faster. 2. Don’t take in any blue light 2 hours before bed use blue light blocking glasses if you have to. 3. Minimise anything that’s going to properly engage your mind like watching UA-cam or exercising just before bed it would be better to read especially if it’s fiction this will help you get to sleep a lot faster. 4. Finally if you can’t just go from 10:30 straight to 9:30 then slowly bring the time you go to bed backwards each night by 15 mins or even 10 until you get to 9:30. Your circadian rhythm will be off at first so you won’t sleep as well at the start but it will eventually adapt.

      No worries brother keep pushing it’ll be harder for you because of your height (I’m 5”7 😭) but keep eating as much as you can and keep training hard I’m going to make a video on bulking soon. Rooting for you brother!

      I'm 6'2 and have always had weak SBD. I just hit 80kgx5 on bench and I've been lifting for over a year now. Don't compare yourself to shorter guys on these big lifts because they have a better starting point. From what I understand, tall guys have a higher strength potential.

      I second what he said about paused reps they build that lowered end strength when the bar is at your chest, nothing is worse than being able to unrack a weight even like 300 pounds easy but not being able to bench it. I’m a little rusty on the specifics but doing paused reps, coffin press(freehand weight was better for me rather than a cable machine, to each their own) and good ol pushups especially if you weigh 240 like me or more, keep pushing your limits bros success is a mentality and failure isn’t an option 💪
