MCSO Investigation- Lake Havasu PD Officer Involved Shooting 08/01/2024
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are continuing their investigation into an Officer Involved Shooting involving a Lake Havasu City Police Officer and a suspect, identified as Damien Michael Myers.
At approximately 9:07 PM, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to the 3400 Blk of Oro Grande Blvd. in reference to a domestic violence call.
The Lake Havasu City Police Officer involved in the incident has been identified as Joey Venegas, a 10-year veteran officer. During the investigation, the suspect Myers admitted to MCSO Detectives that while fleeing from Officer Venegas, he told the officer he was going to shoot him and then pulled a pink handgun out of his pocket.
After fleeing the scene, Myers buried the firearm in a nearby wash. The firearm was recovered by Detectives that same evening. This investigation is ongoing.

Yup...we have pussies for shee-riffs who can't do their jobs of keeping the peace by going after all the trouble makers, drug runners and law breakers in Kingman Butler so we have to put up security camera's and when we do, the shee-riffs go after the people installing security cameras who are trying to protect themselves from the criminal element accusing them of being child predators and molesters. The shee-riffs are pro Hells Angels types and are protecting the drug running gang banging boom boxers who consistently disturb our peace. Unfortunately our corrupt shee-riff leader was not voted out...and that's a crime. Butler desperately needs effective law enforcement and maybe then the security cams will start to come down...but I just don't see that happening in the near future...

We have no connection to Mojave County, but we come back to the hilarity of it time and again at every chance.
