Spartan Javelin Bipod and Mounting Options
This video sucks
What I really like is the level, best option for a tikka currently
Does the 7prc fit in a medium action? I thought it was a long action only?
Can't help but wonder if your torque specs are calibrated with loctite in mind. I can tell you from my job, that most industrial fasteners have a "wet" and "dry" torque spec. The difference is pretty dramatic, like not 5%, closer to 50%. Most scope mounts I've ever used (per contacting the manufacturer) use a "dry" torque spec.
explain it carefully when you are trying to explain something. show it carefully when you are trying to show something. because your video makes no sense at all. we couldn't understand anything.
This explained nothing
And the music is irritating
What stock are you running on this build?
so is it button rifle not single-point cut like Bartlein, proof, etc?
How to order sir
The best barrels are cut rifled done on the old pratt n Whitney machinery like Krieger or Obermeyer barrels. Boots Obermeyer passed a few years back but Jack Krieger at Krieger tool and die in Wisconsin makes the best barrels money can buy.
Nice product and great install. Do you offer these in Stainless finish?
That diamond fluting looks to be not well thought out.
I thought rifling was achieved by hammering the barrel with a Mandrel in the centre
That's button rifling. This looks like cut rifling
Nice product fellas!
wat magazine size , are you running to make it work with 7mmprc
300 rum is my favorite cartridge along with 338 edge. Could you suggest action that I could purchase that would allow me to run the much longer 30 cal heads and still have a removable magazine
20 years ago, I couldn't find a 300 RUM, so I bought a Sako TRG M995, IN .30-378 WEATHERBY MAG. That had a 3 shot drop mag, and was SUPER LONG. --- I ended up selling it because it was a PAIN to hand load, the RUM is a joy to hand load. Oh, the Sako was super accurate, I was a TEENAGER, NO long range shooting experience, but, with a tasco (high end tasco) scope, I could shoot pop cans at 400 yards. That Sako, might be the rifle your after.
7.7 STW or 7.75 TW??
7rsaum is where its at. Been using one in 1000yd Unlimited Class Benchrest for 7yrs now. My favorite cartridge. It's so efficient, so inherently accurate, and I feel is the perfect 7mm cartridge
What works best for a bolt action Bergara HMR 300 win mag?
got one and love it, really easy to attach and very light weight
Is there a trigger/safety available for the BAT Vesper that locks the bolt?
Is that a 18 or 20 inch carbon barrel on this 7PRC?
Can you cut a factory rem 700 short action to a medium? Just curious
1" rings please
Thank you!!!!! Finally a good explanation on available parts. I've been looking at doing a Zermatt med and was curious for bottom metal. Covers 284 win variants, saum, wsm, and maybe just a long 260 rem.
Gyat damn that looks like my perfect rifle build. Cerakote is cherry on top.
Tell me about the extractor and ejector. I will assume this is a two lug vertical lock up design. BAT makes two lug horizontal and three lug designs,. How do you disassemble the bolt, so you can remove the firing pin for determining shoulder clearance for handloading? Does this BAT action have or can be installed with their roller cocking piece? Is the action just push feed, or does it have a controlled round capture of the cartridge rim like the Zermatt Big Horn actions?
I have had one in the past when they first came out , just bought another a couple of days ago ,still no different so sent it back ,there is far too much slop in the cant. Feels like you are balancing your gun on top of a pogo stick
Would any of y’all’s brakes work with a 6.8 western rifle?
I HAVE 1 OF THEAE AND HATE IT WOULD YOU STAY YOU STILL FEEL GOOD ABOUT THIS THINK IN HINDSIGHT ? THNX
Why do you hate it? I'm close to getting one
Great video
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My favorite cartridge!!!!
Awesome work! I'll be adding this one to my wish list!
It seems a waste of time to me. None of those rifles are something I would hunt with. Sorry just my opinion.
And he's conflating COAL case over-all length sitting in the magazine with bullet jump of a chambered round. While this new "medium" action may optimize or reduce the bolt cycle distance of short OAL cartridges in a long action receiver, it has nothing to do with bullet jump to lands of a chambered round. Still, not a bad idea to optimize that bolt cycle distance. I'd prefer it if building a 7mmPRC rifle, for sure.
I think people stay away from medium actions is because their are fewer component options at least when I was looking for parts. Then what I did find for medium all were more expensive
Curious how the 22” performs with the Norma?
What's the difference between the Vampire and the Vesper?
Beaut
Thank you sir!
I have a defiance xm. I couldn't find any information on the xm plus. This is the second time I hear of that. Will the medium vesper fit in my stock inlet that is for the xm I have? I think I rather have a vesper at this point in time. TIA
No it will not, only XM+ actions match the medium footprint standard followed by all other action manufacturers. Your XM doesn't not follow the standard.
Very cool
You keep saying “our action”… is BAT an UKM the same company?
No, but the action is an exclusive product made for and distributed by Unknown Munitions
@@Seanconnery1st ahhh good to know. Thank you.
You should say the barreled length on your videos too. I am always curious on what lengths customers choose compared to the cartridge.
Will do, thank you!
Sweet!💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻
Very nice!! I also shoot left handed. Problem is nearly a 1 year wait on the action
Lefty here as well, so tough to find a quality rifle
@@woodywoodpecker3643 Just get one built. By the time you buy all of your own components you're looking at around $3300 in very good parts. Many well known action makers have left hand frequently and at no extra cost - Defiance, BAT, Kauger, Stiller. You can pay a top gunsmith fees to build it and in my experience that can be up to $1350 depending on what all you want done and still that's on par or even cheaper than buying one that sells around $6500-7000. That higher fee includes things like cerakote
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I’ll take 2
Nice! That’s my buddies rifle. Hopefully I’ll see it kill a bull this fall.
Did it fill a tag? Another season coming up.
