For me, a down picking stamina test is playing MOP with their live stuff. Shit goes like 1.5 speed sometimes 2

Cool guitar, could use a big of tightening up and to me especially the hammer on is noticeable, but keep practising bro, Metallica is definetly the band for practising down picking too, one tip can be if you are struggling to set your metronome at a higher bpm than the actual song, then bring it back down
