The US mediia is conrolled by six very large corporations. A large portion of their income comes from adverstising. The corporations that control the media are oligarchs themselves and are dependent on other oligarchs for their income. Remember the YT mashup: Brought to you by Pfizer"? The federal government also controls broadcast licenses for radio and TV and has other means to intimidate the media.

All of these people have been attempting to erase President and Madame President Clinton in the U.S. President and Madame President Clinton has had Three Clinton Administrations.

It's so frustrating to me that during the campaign PBS didn't warn the American public and just now are educating the public. I wrote them several times about their coverage. SMH.

Humans are a hominid with a language based brain. We aquire a shared narrative of belonging through social learning processes. Same way some orcas learn to chase sardines or salmon. The primary function of our cumulative and shared deep story is to make sense of information. If democracy does not feature a protagonist role in that social learning process....forget about it. That's where we are. We are just not that into democracy anymore. Not more complicated than that, the billionaires who control public education, or media, for example, are winning.

They craftily pitted white against non White, men against women, straight against other orientated, religious against secular etc. Divide and conquer (in this case control. Everything to avert attention from the real issue. Distract from the huge income equality. Those who posses the means of productionand the worker. Just let the workers squable among themselves. Marixism was replaced by cultural marxism so the few on the top could preserve capitalism. The politicians are just their puppets.

Trump voters didn’t fight for democracy because they don’t appreciate what they have. Now comes the hard lesson.

The so-called Founding "Fathers" were slave owners and slave traders who benefitted from evil. Slavery lasted for more than two centuries followed by one century of segregation. It was core to America, this great evil, not a footnote. Then, the white supremacists tried to indoctrinate everyone into admiring and revering the founding slave owners and slave traders with their public miseducation system. But that's been exposed as propaganda bullshxt. Racist America took its mask off, that's all that's happened (again). They showed us who they were in 2016, and again now. That's the truth, warts and all.

I have a copy of Dr. Stanley's book on fascism. It is informative and educational. Sadly, people will not know what they have lost until it is lost.

The right wing has already taken over the news media. Traditional media has been slow to realize this. That's how they are able to get elected. They already have the Courts. Next will be Universities followed by Healthcare. After that probably the Entertainment Industry and then they will control ALL of the narratives.What the hell are we supposed to do?

So it is as bad as I have been thinking. Q: what do I do now?

You are discussing taking away our freedom to choose by making masks an ordinance or mandate. Government should not have say in our individual decisions. My body my choice. My children my choice.
