I started parrying after getting my azz wacked multiple time by the cathedral knights. Could only flawlessly parry them

I beat DS3 without parrying and well it was great fun but later i spend crazy amountbof time learning how to parry and... it's... so MUCH more fun. I could beat Black Knights just because of my broadsword art and they were harder than some of the bosses. Screw blocking. Real kigs dodge and parry

This video is one of the most useful I have ever seen, mainly because I'm trying to be a good parry player and having the knowledge about the weapons that aren't parry able at all, is a hell of a help to me.

The only things I know - UGS 2H (unparryable including jump attacks) Great axe- same like the UGS (Dragonslayer great axe WA is parryable) Whips- not parryable Bonk stick- both 1 and 2H is parryable including the WA.

Looking at these in .25 speed it looks like the general common theme is initiating the parry right at the apex of an enemy's wind up for their attack. The tricky bit is finding exactly WHEN said wind up is at its apex amid the various animations. Good video.
