im a bit sad they made the earlier stages easier and gutted certain iconic parts from them (like the youmu ending and the way cirno's stage took a pause to create some buildup and got unexpectedly intense and complex towards the end) BUT Reimu's so fucking cool that I'm willing to forgive that. definitely the best stage in the game so far.

It feels like this one would be better if, instead of having to wait for parryable bullets, all shots could be parried but you had to aim your hits to send them back instead of them automatically redirecting to your target. Sort of a Highly Responsive to Prayers meets the sh'mup games approach. Then it wouldn't have to be as slow so you can pick out the reflectable shots and would offer more room for skill development.

This got weirdly philosophical really fast. It's like a Touhou meme version of _The Limits of Control._ Also, the voice you used for Patchy has like, a slight southern drawl, and it weirdly works.

Aesthetics alone make this one a winner, the desaturated pixel art mixed with ocean noises and chill music is peak.
