Yup!! Another great video ,sir. Those fish look delicious. I have one easy question your casting that little tiny lure with that big rod and reel. I think you said 1/8 ounce in Bobo brown. My question is what kind of braid are you using to make it easier to cast these tiny lures from the bank. Thank you in advance for all your help.
@MarioHinojosa-c3d we spool up the real with 10 to 12lb braid depending on the rod capacity no more than 15lb braid. 85% braid and rest is mono. Float rod all braid fluorocarbon leader
@MarioHinojosa-c3d the rods are 10'6" weighted for 3/4 oz 6-12 and we made them even lighter the other rod is a 6-8lb rod 9'6" my float rods a 12' 6-15
@@Hoyfishingcom Again sir, thank you very much for responding. I only ask these questions because I bought a stack of these lures from you a couple of months ago based on your recommendations and am planning to start using them in the next couple of weeks with the weather/water cooling down here in the Woodland, wa. area (Lewis river/Cowlitz river, Etc.). So, again thank you for all of your help.
@MarioHinojosa-c3d let me know how the fishing is. I use to fish the cowlits religiously. We are getting ready to make a trip out that way. I fished the barrier and blue creek and a few other areas on the Cow
@Hoyfishingcom Good morning,Sir. Good to hear from you. I live in woodland wa about 40-60 minutes away from the Cowlitz/Barrier damage but unfortunately have never fished it. I heard it gets very crowded but tons of fish when they're running and so very easy to catch. I'm not sure where you live or what direction you're coming from but, here around woodland there are many nice creeks and small rivers to fish.
Fire 🔥! What rod were ya using brother? And how heavy sinker ya throw?
@@iamalemontree rockaway 12' 10 to 20 lb test line. 2 and 3oz
@ thanks brother! Do you use high low rig right?
@iamalemontree yes sir
You usually have great content to watch, fishing in great areas etc but you really need to improve your video and editing technique. So much of what you show is unwatchable because all you have is a chest camera. Try to get a head Camera on your hat so you can edit between the two.
you know we tried the head stuff and the hat stuff but weve lost to many go pros on those and when we get into contact with gopro they try not to help but those clips and stuff end up just flying right off
@@smallieman1756 i here you. We just get so excited we dont pay attention to our cameras when the action is on! We are beginners at this filming and fishing. Great video. For monster-sized bluegill, and huge perch, I hit Potholes Res. For the biggest perch in the state I hit Moses Lake.
@@Bigfishfun333 right! For are area 11 to 14" perch are jumbos. Moses lake has gigantic perch
I like watching you catch fish at all the lakes I do not. :)
Great video! Also love the look of your lures, we will be ordering some soon! 😃
glad you like them and thanks for watching we appreciate it
Smaller fish due to alot more people fishing the lake nowadays?
Silver lake does have decent fish in the lake. Alot of the time its just trying to weed through the smaller stocked trout especally when your using bait. This year at silver lake i got a 17" 15" lots of 14" and 12" . I believe it has to do with the new owner and how they stock the lake. Back in the days we use to catch 3 and 4lb rainbows and browns. Im sure there are still big fish in the lake. There just going to be harder to catch. Timing and a little bit of luck.
Your lures and rigs look inviting. It seems at times surf perch will take many different baits or lures.
@@theoldsurffisher1943 yes there are varities of different artifical lures to catch surfperch. We use the same sak lure to catch all species from lakes, river and salt water.
The 1/16oz has been killing it in the lakes this year. In the sak squids and fatheads. Last few trips I have been using the FatHeads they are new for this year will be strickly using the Fatheads for the rest of the year for consistantcy Nite fury. The colors that have been consistant this year are (BoBo Brown, peach, NiteFury and shrimp ) If your ever interested. The sakflies have been doing very will also .
1/16oz bobo brown and 1/16oz peach peach. Please send pics and videos. Preciate you, thank you.

In this video, what size/weight are you using? Oh and what colors. I just ordered from you, got my package today and can't wait to try them.
sorry for late reply weve been mostly using 1/16 in nightfury peach and bobobrown and sometimes pumpkin seed and frog are hot colors and for trolling and casting to shore and slowly retrieving or messing around logs we use the 1/32 or 1/16s and for casting and jigging its normally the 1/8th oz jigs now if your on a decent dropoff like some of the parts of the lake are just deep drops i can cast the 1/8th oz to the shore line and slowly retreive to get a faster drop

I'd love more details about the jigs you are using? The lake looks amazing, I think it would be great for kayak fishing and I'd like to come down!

Alder lake
Love that lake… biggest problem is having your vehicle vandalized while you’re fishing! ☹️😡
I have not had that happen to me. knock on wood! Love the lake myself.
He’s got the “Sack”
Lol
That music is way too loud.
There aren't any kokanee at Kapowsin. It was a salmon. But without seeing the mouth I couldn't tell for sure but the black spots lead me to believe it was a Chinook. I knew someone who lived by a creek that goes between Ohop and Kapowsin and when it flooded she said she would have salmon swimming in her orchard.
Only coastal cutthroat trout in Alder. No Rainbows. Nice catching!
There's rainbow and Kokanee.

Great fishing video!! 😊 I love pontoon fishing. I used to have one too and I miss it. Great catches 😊
There are some Disadvantages But all and all I enjoy fishing on my pontoon
Hello, sir. I really enjoyed your video. I am about to make my first purchase of your wonderful products. I have a couple questions that I would like to ask you. How heavy is the jig are you using for this episode. What pattern/color are you using. How deep are you fishing.if your not too busy, I would appreciate your help. I live in woodlandwa, I'm located about 4 blocks from horseshoe lake. This lake is between 8-25 feet and stocked with broader trout and 5-10 pound steelhead during the winter months. That is why I was asking your recommendation on what weight jigs and different color combinations you might recommend for the fishing conditions mentioned above. Me, my wife and our 11 year old daughter love fishing and think your lures would greatly increase our fishing experience.
How's it going mario thank you for the comment. We have been catching are fish on 1/8th ounce and 1/16 ounce in peach, bobo brown, pink Sherbert. Each lake has been little different on color but those colors have been pretty Consistent. I am so happy that you have commented. I have forgotten all about horseshoe lake but it is a Lake I've always wanted to fish.
Good video! Alder is one of my favorites! The only problem being there is almost TOO MUCH structure!
I agree! i lost alot of big bass in the stumps. i have been very lucky on getting my jigs back.
@@Hoyfishingcom I know there are state record largies & smallies in there. Biggest largemouth I've seen caught is 10.5, biggest smallie a bit over 9. Crappie can reach 17".
Alder lake Definitely has large fish.
@@Hoyfishingcom getting them to bite is the tricky part. When WDFW stocks kokanne fingerlings at the boat launch in the Spring, it turns into a bass feeding frenzy....😁
Yes it does! i have watched smallies tear them fingerlings up on lake washington its pretty neat to watch!
fish still fresh there?
this was a couple weeks ago we havent checked it out since so couldnt tell ya

Can’t believe you didn’t get any panfish or bass, which Silver Lake is known for.
Sorry for the late reply. Yah, have not fished silver lake in a long time. Went out to just get line wet. Silver lake in tacoma. Silver lake does have crappie, bluegills and bass. Silver lake use to have trout over 22 inches and that was what i was trying to catch but i was happy to catch the stockers.
Yo, that’s some sexy music for some sexy salmon! 😂 Nice catches!🤘🏽🤙🏽
