Glen Plake is from the moon.
11 years later, great vid! Would love to ski with him someday
My dad skied with him for a day and just couldn’t figure out how he did it
this was skiing before it decided to mimic something cool... like snowboarding
That he can also do old school ski ballet just shows how bad a$$ he is...as if there was ever a doubt. I wonder how many of the current pros have this type of control?
Does he still rock the Mohawk?
Does the Earth go around the sun?
cool
Plake is a true license to thrill!!!!!!
Legend, he is.
Legend.
Legend.
Legend!
Legend
My grandchildren do this better4!
You're an ass, Glen Plake is a legend! You have no idea who he is do you? So do you make a habit of criticizing or putting down things you obviously know nothing about on the internet? You feel cool now right?
really bad way bad
Blow it out your ass loser
Cool video! Watch the film STEEP for some incredible Glen Plake footage skiing steep.
Just awesome ...
sweet background music
worst video ever
Feel free to checkout my channel for some NEW ENGLAND Skiing and other cool stuff!
I can't believe that Glen Plake is hitting up the park now. I remember when he used to ski though big huge bumps on his huge skies. Maybe he still does....
Such a cool guy.
Remember watching his videos when I was at school...got me into skiing into the first place..amen!!
Plake is the man!
Agreed! Dudes a legend.......does he still rock the Mohawk?
cool stuff Glen , been following u since the 80`s this man is awsome skier!!!!!!
Enjoyed the Video..Did not know he was such a "Dan the Budman". I am not alone. Glen is Better but can he do it without poles?
Thank you Glen for being such a good ambassador for the sport.
Kewl, my favority whacky banana on boards. That's what it's about FREEDOM! First everybody stares, what do we do? All used to one thing, conformity, but then GP shows people how to have fun. Hope this inspires tolerance of self & for others, as if. I'm witnessing a tough time across our nation, extreme polarization. ScAmerika where propaganda obscures truth, hypocrisy obscures purpose, & suppression obscures injustice. Don't waste your liberty, mind, & effort. Uphold righteousness & ski or die.
o rly?
Glen Plake is awesome..Only thing to do at Bretton Woods is ballet.. You been there?? It's flatter then my girlfriends chest!
@BostonBruinz What he's doing at 3:25 is harder than anything you've done in your life.
that exercise is bloody impressive, I have to try it
Actually, it's not hard at all once you know how to always stand on one ski only and then simply use the outer rather than the inner edge. Kind of a Charleston dance on skis.
I met him. haha
@BostonBruinz everyone's gotta relax sometime bro
met him as well. heavenly at lake tahoe which think he calls home. he was sporting the pink 'hawk, legendary.
@BostonBruinz go figure ur a fuckin bruins fan noob
@niveusproductions I just got his autograph yesterday !!
@BostonBruinz jack of all trades... lets see him mix the 225s with this ;)
@BostonBruinz What else can you do at bretton woods? The place is'nt very difficult
@BostonBruinz ski ballet used to be part of the fis competitions, and its an incredible tricky part of skiing
Legend
@BostonBruinz He can ski however he wants, he's earned it. He is a living legend.
I play the Horn (in F) and i am at the second to the left on the very back row. This concerto was not very hard, only the very low A's and the endless measures of rests, but I enjoyed it still. The piano player was very good, and in all of the rehesals I only heard him only miss a note only once. That realy good, i missed an uncountable number of notes, but I learned a lot about music there. Also, my picture of me playing my horn was in the Athens Georgia paper about the AYS concert.
you never pointed the camera at the brass :(
yea skiing with hims was awesome
such a natural talent and my childhood hero.
dude sjut the fuck up thts glen plake
