Very helpful, thank you :)
Indeed, this video is a life saver. Thank you to the nice lady explaining how to complete this form.
This is a really good video, thank you so much. 😊
Thank yoi
Hi, I have a question if anyone can help. We have x3 ISA accounts in our 3 children’s name which we put money in from joint account monthly. We can’t access the money, only the children will be able at the age of 18. Do I need to record these as well? Very useful video, thank you so much!!
I would think that you should. But you should state who is beneficiary of it and percentage.
Really well explained video. Thank you.
What about when procedural irregulaties gag you every stage
My Landlord served a section 21. the date we are supposed to leave has been entered with an Error 29/12/20024. also THE TENANCY CONTRACT which was received via email had an expire EPC AND gAS CERT EPIRED BY 2 YEARS ATTACHED TO THE EMAIL. If he lies and produces one and says he sent it can we challenge the order as invalid as we never received it. also a day later we said we found a property and want to leave in a month he said we couldnt as we have to stay 2 months. we sent our notice via post to leave. are we in the right to challenge his notice as invalid
If you are single male even with health conditions this doesn't apply to you. You can still register but get put in the pointless band 4 or C you will be bidding forever and get no housing ive been bidding for 20 years and nothing its just false hope unless you got kids or disabled
its nearly possible to represent yourself in court...they will strong arm you everytime. unless you are educated in law and will power plus commitment and are prepared after all this to loose then done even think about it........sit down with your partner with the bitter remains of the relationship and try and come to an agreement wherever possible....put your ego to one side for the children.
Thank you very much for this video. Soon I will have a court battle with my ex,so it's very helpful.
Thank you so much your an angel for me who has helped me with my form E. your god sent thank you so much 🙏🏼
I agree... she's an absolute life saver! I could have never filled this in without her help!!
You’ll have a head start if you’re a mother….
Very useful thanks. If the Court asks for a blank version. How do you do this?
Just mind-blowingly brilliant - thank you!
Thanks for this video. Is there any updates or changes currently?
Very nicely compiled video, great work by David too. BTW code of guidance at the bottom link isn't working just to let you know.
When i noticed mistakes in the court papers i said nothing and strung them along and they sorted out a hearing in court which gave me more time!
When we all got section 21 notices back in the july of 2022 i put in a homeless application with the city council as soon as i could! I reckoned there was a mistake on the notices but never said and strung them along and in the november of 2022 i was told i was getting another notice as the one in the july was invalid! I had tried to reach a deal but kept getting told no at every turn!
The guidelines link doesn’t work
Thank you very much... I am in a desperate situation with a very unreasonable landlord and this video has been helpful. Wishing you every success in supporting good tenants such as myself during a time of growing selfishness and a planned cost of living crisis driven by Tory greed.
Please could you advise me on this subject … i rented a property that was repossessed by the finance group that the owner had attached to the property …. I have been locked out i was given one hour to collect my processions …… i was allowed to stay in a hotel that has been a period of three months i have some disabilities but try to remain independent …… i was ran over in 2021 & the injuries were complicated by the local hospital which would not release actual injuries to other professionals this caused more injuries including hip foot & leg pain since i have a malunated knee after the refusal of duty to care while in & leaving hospital …. I am great full but the local authority wants me to stay in temporary accommodation which I have been in for three months they have only offered me a stay in a senior care home i am only 64 i want & need to be independent & return to self employment Now the local authority have said i have to ,I’ve out of the hotel in to this residential home & provide my own bedding or needs when i can not because the bedding i own is in storage & i have not paid this months so i owe & the storage group will not allow access until the account is cleared so i said i will not move in to any accommodation until the next LWCRA is paid being the 12/05/24 Because i had no means to purchase bedding which the housing service said i should because it dose not cost a lot ! I told the housing service i only had £18 to buy foods for the next seven days then i was sent an email & letter stating the temporary housing had given me until the 11/05/2024 then i have to leave the hotel … is that fair & why should i have to go into to an old peoples home when i do not want to…. Just to note i was refused knowledge of the residential home so i had to go & find it my self its a monitored residence its not fair to suggest i am to be barred from my own independence !
Local authority is saying wait until the eviction is executed. This is advice BEFORE and during the assessment. There is no agreement The Councils tell people what is happening. The applicant has NO say.
people keep saying the bedroom tax , has been stopped , its time now after a decade of disabled people , struggling to pay this ,for someone to stand up for the disabled, and abolish this made up tax, all payments in the passed should be returned to the disabled,to many have lost there homes over this, please someone with power/labour,fight for the small people /disabled
Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please #PLEASE Can you please get back to me, I'll quickly outline, temporary accommodation eviction Myself and my daughter found wrongly intentionally homeless, Tomo they are evicting us , I'm not going as haven't anywhere else Council have failed me and moved goal posts I've mental health Depression Anxiety Stress problems, COPD Half lung missing Clots in leg Memory loss I'll give my time volunteering whatever way I'm able to give back if you could help
Hi does anyone knows if the notice is valid if I pay the rent on the first of each month and the landlord give me a notice that require from me to move out before the 21st which is over 10 days earlier. I understand that I am required to pay full amount of the rent but should I voluntary move out giving up one third of rent for free. Would notice be therefore invalid as is against consumers rights?
I found this video really helpful and put my mind at ease. However when I followed the advice in the video about raising your hand the judge in my case seemed very irritated. I’m sure there are judges that aren’t annoyed by this but thought it was worth noting
Thank you for a very helpful video on how to complete this Form E. I would highly recommend it to anyone
Excellent video, all local councillors should watch this!
22:54 8 years down the line and it's still up-to-date, so helpful! What a relief!😌 www.advicenow.org.uk/sites/default/files/form_E_proof-final(website)_0.pdf
despite of higher cost of living I suddenly became a partial Housing Benefit recipient, so far I had full why is that? PLEASE!
Is a landlord allowed to have viewings even after he’s issued section 21 notice? Thank you
This is all very good, there are some terrible landlords who are not compliant and driven purely by greed, however there are some terrible tenants, I have a terrible tenant on a 12 month AST, has been persistently late with rent payments, in fact since starting the tenancy has always been late in rent payments and built up to three months in arrears, refuses mediation, garden is not done and is an eyesore, I am experiencing hardship because of this, I have to serve a section 8 to get rent, and then tenant gets under the 2 month threshold then does not pay rent, so mandatory possession is not possible, difficult to get eviction for discretionary reasons, may take me years to get the tenant evicted, as tenant is playing the section 8 2 month threshold loop hole, the tenant has a CCJ with poor credit history, , so cannot get another rental easily, I have a new kitchen waiting to be installed, why should I bother to do this work?, unfortunately I am now thinking that a Section 21 is the only sure fire way of eviction, I am fully compliant with EPC, GSC, EICR, How to Rent, the tenant is working
Section 21 get them out it’s the only way and nothing more than they deserve, I always do a credit check and they don’t get past first base if they don’t have a landlords reference , they usually say I’ve been living with parents or friends , the application goes straight in the bin, , lots of good tenants out there treat them righ5 and they will be good back, I’ve never had to evict anybody in years
😢😢😢
Hope you Guys got rid of Bad tenants😢😢
Very helpful. Thank you. Any chance you can represent us?
Thank you for your help!!
God Bless you Madam, You have helped me so much 🙏
This doesn't help!!!!
Thank you so much 🙏💕
I love that hilarious part where it says "You can seek help from your local authority to help you find somewhere else to live". Who writes this ill-informed rubbish? Your local council won't do a damn thing for you, guaranteed!
I recently contacted my council, with a copy of the emails and crickets... Tories looking after Tories
I went to the council offices kicking and screaming after I had a letter off the bailiffs saying they were coming to evict as they said they don't help you until you are thrown out of a place! They did offer me a place after I did that!
NEVER LET SS'S IN YOUR HOME, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are there any updates on this? Good video but it is 8 years old now and things may have changed? Come to think of it, probably nothing's changed.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉
My tenant has 14 days for defence. She does not have anything to say really because I have followed everything.
God bless you my dear, great help. Thank you
My council said they will discharge their duty if i don’t accept a temporary accommodation. It’s miles away from my child’s school but also the landlord there is very agressive and i’m scared of living there. The area is close to a domestic abuse partner and i’m mentally not well I have a lot of trauma. If i’m moving there I will have no support as a single mum and I’m mentally not well. Why can’t the council give us another offer I don’t understand. I also have witness of how bad the landlord spoke to me but the council refuse to speak to the witness. I can’t sleep I cry every night please please advice!
How are you now? Did you still there? My friend in the same situation she is with hard health conditions and her daughter has multiple health problems 😢
EICR?
Say your landlord wants to sell the flat?
hi everyone, just to add you can get the land registry number by purchasing the title deed information from the land registry website
Very informative. Thank you
Can you tell me which form you used to represent yourself
