Norwegian trio Bokassa fuse metal and stoner rock with catchy punk rock into their own stonerpunk. The band has played some of the worlds biggest festivals, toured all over Europe, supported Judas Priest, Mastodon, Baroness and offcourse Metallica. Whom they were handpicked by Lars Ulrich to support, alongside Ghost, in stadiums all over Europe, UK and Russia. The legendary drummer hailed them as "his favourite new band" after hearing the trios first album Divide & Conquer. Their sophomore album Crimson Riders followed in 2019 and in 2020 they released «Live At The BBC» from their BBC Radio 1 live session at the legendary Maida Vale studio in London.
Last year Bokassa released their third album «Molotov Rocktail» on Napalm Records and charted at number 18 on Norways album charts. The album was met with critical acclaim from Kerrang, Rock Hard, Distorted Sound, Adresseavisen and Metal Hammer among others.

Not as good live. Can't wait to see them tomorrow. I bet he was just hoarse that gig. Jørn. But yeah I'd love for them to come near where i live more often and maybe a longer concert? Could throw in some up-and commers as a Special guest(s). Always had a brilliant evening with Bokassa on my 2 occations. Also when I saw them in February, I bought a motörhead- inspired Bokassa baseball shirt and a packpatch which i wear at all coming gigs
