The Wave (1989, Pacific Data Images)

An excerpt of this animation is most well known for appearing at the very end of the 1990 computer animation anthology video The Mind's Eye. Also note the use of the Roland D-50 synth in the background music (notably the Pizzagogo patch is used).
Before anyone asks, I have not been able to find the entire original short in its full quality. This is all I have. As mentioned previously, however, a higher quality excerpt is present at the very end of The Mind's Eye.
Anyone who can provide additional information on this animation is more than welcome to do so in the comments below.
