I registered as soon as they announced we could, and I got in with 5 days left in the Alpha Lab. So I couldn't get the full time with it, and I couldn't even use up all 5 days I had because it was so unexpected :/ They're doing it again in Spring, so I'd sign up as soon as you can!

For kiting, yea definitely! His timing for switching between moving and A clicking would be way different from other ADCs, but still super useful. At higher levels of play, you'll want to be extra careful with your 4th shot though. A click can really screw you over when people are spamming wards on top of teammates to save them. Just don't let A click put you on autopilot and you'll do fine!

If I remember correctly, you can't use both at the same time. I learned this a long time ago though, and haven't messed with it since, so things may have changed in recent years. But if pro players still auto wards, then I'd assume that it still doesn't work together.

The hype will be there on release for sure, but I'm a bit worried about how long it'll last. The game's mechanics are a mishmash of many other games so far besides the 2v2 feature. It'll be a unique game, but I'm not sure how long the game will feel fresh to experienced fighting game players, and how long new players will stand being beat down. Also, I'm personally not very interested in playing with a teammate, so I was kinda looking for another hook mechanics wise. I think we're done with system mechanics, so I'm looking for character specific mechanics now.

The Cannons are legendary for sure, but that doesn't make them infallible. I hope they nail the landing, but I'm just not seeing the game joining the upper echelon on fighting games. Their past game, Rising Thunder, didn't make much of a splash, and huge IPs like Pokemon and Shonen Jump haven't made a splash, even when they've tried to make a genuinely competitive title like Pokken. I do expect great features from the game though, like we already know the netcode will be spectacular, I'm confident that the training mode will have every option we could want, I'm sure Riot will come up with fun gamemodes for the game, etc. It'll likely lead the herd in that sense, but fighting game devs are SLLOOOOOOWW to change, so I don't expect others to follow suit for a while. I'm just worried about the lasting interest for 2XKO. I hope I'm wrong though!

No, it'll still be fine. This guide covers how items work, not what every item does. New players will still be able understand how items in League work even if the items themselves change

Viktor having a hexcore wasn't the point of interest, so it's still fine. Again, the video explains how items work, not what the items are. As long as some champs have unique starting itmes, that segmemt is still relevant

You actually caught me early! I just recorded a reaction / discussion video on the Yasuo reveal, post EVO reflection from Tom, and the pre-EVO how to play vid that Riot made! They talk about Freestyle in there, so I JUST heard about it! I'll have a vid about that later, but I think it's really cool! It sounds like the most fun Fuse to play with! It sounds like it's more of a combo extension tool, but I'm wondering if it could be used effectively in neutral and offence too. And yea, I'm also not too sure about the current Last Stand mechanic. Getting a free super sounds very lazy and kinda meh creativity wise. I don't think it'll be in the final game though. I think it's just like that for now so people can play around with it a bit. I said this in my upcoming video, but I kinda wish they'd somehow turn Freestyle into the Last Stand comeback mechanic. Like things are relatively chill until you're near dead, then you could go nuts! But it doesn't make sense as things are now, since you obviously have a dead character, so there's nothing to tag into. Maybe they can change Last Stand to trigger when both characters are at 35% or lower, or something like that

I haven't heard anything that would indicate that this would be the 'main' way to play the game. I think it's just a cool other mode to play on, specially since they also let you play 1v2 players. I still think the game will be 1v1, though I'm sure people will host 2v2 tourneys for the game for fun. They may balance for this mode, like how League does for ARAM and their other modes, but yea, I don't think it's the main mode. At least, I haven't heard anything that would make me think that's the case so far. And hey, thanks for checking out the vid! I'm glad you liked it! :D

Hey thanks for the kind words! I'm glad people seem to actually be learning from my vids! Also, it's funny you mentioned items because I'm actually working on a little guide for them right now! It'll be fairly bare bones though. No one can really tell you when to build what for EVERY situation you'll come across, specially with how often League is updated. For now, I'd recommend you use sites like u.gg or op.gg to figure out your builds. You can literally google "u.gg ashe" and get a guide. They'll give you stuff that's better than the in-game recommendations, and they update with every patch so it's always useful! It's useful even to me at times, even though I've been playing for years! But keep experimenting with builds and find what you like!

Yea, Maximilian Dood, the biggest fgc creator, was talking a lot about f2p when the Illaoi trailer dropped, so there was a lot of discussion around the topic back then. I really trust Riot with this though. Even with the high prices in League, it's because they only make higher quality skins now. At one point they turned lower quality skins into Legacy skins iirc, so that was them saying they'll focus more on higher quality skins. Even if you don't agree with the pricing or the dropping of lower quality but cheaper skins, they at least have an understandable reason for it!

Lei is intimidating to learn for sure, but he's not so bad. You can dive in deep if you want to learn about all your options in every situation, but you can stick to his core tools and have a simple gameplan if you want to. Like right now, I'm just going to focus on his base stance, backturned stance, and Snake stance. There's plenty you can do from just that!

This series is designed for people who haven't ever played a fighting game, so I'm ok with being a little wrong, or just skipping some details if it paints a clearer picture.
