This is not 'the usual' content, but still a valid tip for anyone having had the same issue as I did on my work PC for quite some time - without ever really finding the root cause, and fix. Here it is - use at your own risk, as editing your Registry Database is generally not advised.

In this short video I'll show how to set up two-side printing as a default in Windows. The used case in this video is to have CUSTOMTOOLS print SOLIDWORKS drawings this way, but this setting will apply to all areas, like printing PDF files or Word documents.

Some features or operations are not supported - CAMWorks Error message explained and resolved.

In some cases when using floating license an error about insufficient license will be displayed. In most cases, this has a simple fix, where you just add the missing license from the server. In other cases, this message will display for instance if the part was saved using a demo version of CAMWorks, or if the license was changed from a higher module to a lower module.

Hi there, im running SW2024 Premium but don't seem to have the customtools tab... Is this an add-in from a provider? Or is it something you made up yourself?

28:45 How woulld you generate a toolpath using only the side of the end mill to cut the contour (notches)? So, starting with the stock, and the end mill at the full depth of the stock, the cutter would take mutiple cuts in the "Y" direction cutting out the notches, then a final pass following the contour, all cutting from the side of the end mill at the full depth.
I'd use either *VoluMill* or *Offset Roughing* for that.
@@CADWorksdk I've been trying out the VoluMill option for a few days. The desired toolpaths are easy to make, and the milling strategy is easier on the machine (Tormach 770M). Thanks for the recommendation!
While setting up the strategies for the perimeter (or other features) I see a check box for "through". What does this mean? I don't see a difference when it is selected or not.
The end conditions will allow you to define different strategies for the otherwise identical features. For instance a blind and a through pocket. For the blind, you can define a strategy that works really well, and then copy the feature strategy as a new one where you mark it as Through. And then add a bit more depth, to allow tool to penetrate through the full depth, for better machining.
Great video! Do you know of sources to learn about the specifics of the different features "types" (Slot, corner slot, pocket, open pocket, open profile, etc) and how to recognize and use the proper type?

Can you please show how to define a u drill for lathe
If you mean a flat bottom drill, then simply use an End-Mill, or a drill where you set the tip angle to zero. Same/same.

Hi Abo - yes, I know... It is alvays hard to decide what to do in native language and what to do in English. I hope it makes some kind of sense anyway, as the UI at least is English 😀

Camworks 2017 Is it compatible with Solidworks 2020?
Hi Amin - No. In practical terms, no addin is forward compatible. Meaning, if running SW2020, then you need either CAMWorks 2020 or CAMWorks 2021 - CAMWorks 2019 will not run in SW2020.
