How to Bind a Quilt - Fork Mtn Quilting Tutorial
Why is it just a skinny slither of a video and not the whole screen? Plus, yes the music is too loud.
Thank you for a GREAT tutorial!!! Your directions are SO easy, and you make it look like such a FUN project!!! I can't wait to make one of my own❣️😊
Looks so fun! Love pumpkins. 🎃
I did the charm bag today. Thank you folks
OK the iron is hot with steam or what? Good to see your tutorial Melissa at Fork Mtn.
Great tutorial Melissa at Fork Mtn.
Where the fabric is the same, could you use a strip or do you have to use squares?
You could, however that would not be best practice, due to it being a grid system. Thank you for watching and the great feedback.
Just happened onto this turtorial. I absolutely LOVE IT! You are a great teacher! I love a challenge and I definitely want to try this. THANK YOU SOOOOO much for sharing this.
I’m sorry but I think the trees on the one fabric are sewn upside down
Love the tutorial Miss Patty. I couldn’t have got my zipper on without you.
I love this!!
Is it possible to still order that gorgeous fabric?
Excellent exercise tutorial~~all that walking! Love the pattern.💕💕💕
do you still have kits available for the temperature quilts? thank you, Karen Sorenson
Hey Melissa thanks for this awesome video! Wish it had been available when I put the borders on my first quilt a couple of months ago lol but now I have this great information for my next quilt. Thanks for sharing!
Asking if you have the pattern for your Log cabin quilt 🪡🧵✂️❤️
Wish you had shown how to do branch 1 and the star.
Super beautiful ❤️! Love it!
I tried to make this blocks years ago and struggled. So glad I found your video for it explains it much better. Thank you!
the pieces matching in shape n size throughout the top creates a rhythm.
Great tutorial thanks!! Bernina and etc should make a single hole needle plate for scant quarter inch stitching/moving needle over 1 or 2 "clicks." I also have to use a leader scrap to make sure my fabric doesn't get sucked into the zipzag/wide needle plate.
Love love it. Can’t wait to try. I wonder if I followed your pattern for cutting but cut the curves free hand if it would work.
Please get rid of the music. Want to watch this beautiful table runner, but the music is toooooooo annoying. Otherwise great.
Great
This was so helpful, thank you!
It would be cool to emdbroider a rain drop, a snowflake, a few swirls for a really windy day, etc.!
Whats the brand of rotary cutter you are using? please and thanks
Looks like a Quilters Select.
Why in the world do they have your cutting board so far away from your machine Your walking your self to death. Even though it’s a good workout
Is there a link for the book and ruler??
Would like to have finished watching but the music was annoying, sorry
Wow 🎉 You are a great teacher, I have never seen that technique, of stopping in the middle…. I have been quilting for 35 years, & have made numerous drunkard path quilts. Thank you so much.🥰
What number foot are you using with your Bernina?
She is using the 1/4 foot. 57D foot
Hi there. I just made this whole thing, but I'm confounded by the star on top, which you didn't show your assembly or attachment of. Please show/explain that. It's the primary reason I tuned in to the video
New subscriber here - are there any tutorials on binding the edges???
A shop to die for, we don’t have anything like this in the UK, perhaps just as well, I could end up bankrupt😂
You're a great teacher!!
Thanks for a great tutorial, I love your fabric choice, Linda from 🇬🇧 😊
I didn't know my local quilt shop had a you tube channel, looking forward to more videos!
It would have been nice if you showed how to finish piece 1!
Am I the only one who does not understand how to do Piece 1? I would loved for you to show how to do that last piece because it is the one done completely different from the others.
This was so helpful. Thank you. ❤
I did enjoy your tutorial! Thank you😊
I have come across this pattern and really love it, however as I am in Australia it is cost prohibitive to have it shipped. Is anyone aware if there is a digital version available for purchase? Many thanks
How come no one ever answers the questions? It would be most helpful for the last piece and the star
DId you ever figure that part out? You are so right - it is so confusing.
@terrimillard7910 one of my pet peeves...yes..I was at guild and picked a brain
How do you make the star??
I loved the out-takes! I'm seeing this in November 2023, hopefully you did a follow-up so I can see how it's going so far. I moved to a different state in June, so I'm going to do one now, starting with June 2023, through next May. I want to use a little house block. Just got all my fabric colors together, so I've got some catching up to do.
Very nice tutorial. Just wondering if you changed your stitch length to do stitch in the ditch.
Your tutorial is amazing. I just put this table runner together quickly and love it. I'm going to make a couple for Christmas gifts! Thank you!
I wanted to see how the star was put together. I’m having difficulty figuring out the instructions to put it together. ☹️
Thank you for this video. Very clear explanation. Is there any video explaining how to sew the binding? Thank you
