Any Levi's jeans I've purchased made from the stretch/flex material is cheap garbage. The material is a lot thinner than the material they used to use. Last year I bought a few pair made from the "stretch" material because they didn't have my size in stock with the original material, and it deteriorated so fast compared to the original material they used. I'm so glad when I went into a Kohl's store tonight here in Michigan they had the more jeans with the thicker material and not that stretch/flex bullshit. You might as well be wearing jeans made out of plastic from a garbage bag instead of the cheap flex material, the garbage bag plastic would probably be more durable and hold up better!

You can't do anything about the sidepocket issue. Fjellraven have never accomplished making a decent sidepocket on any of their many bags & backpacks. When they made the 20l kanken (Kanken 17") they even removed one of the envelopes they call sidepockets. During the years I have declined purchase of 3 different fjellraven backpacks due to the lack or size of sidepockets.

I bought a new Blue Bell, Maverick denim jacket (Blue Bell made Wrangler also) in the fall of 1967. It was a great jacket and had a zipper instead of buttons. After 50 plus years of use it no longer fit me and was pretty well worn out. Unfortunately I don't remember what happened to it now. I did purchase the book "VINTAGE DENIM" when it came out in 1996. It's a great book that's paid for itself many times over.

I’m a stonemason and my work is extremely tough on clothes. I’ve been wearing these in the the dark blue “pre-wash” daily for years. They take such a beating and just end up looking better and better. Makes me laugh when I think about people spending hundreds of dollars for those fancy designer jeans.

The north face is a 100 level fleece . You need a Denali jacket with the polartec 300 fleece and nylon patches to keep warm

The black rustlers are more comfortable than the blues

only get 100 percent cotton for true 501. as thats how the originals were and they also look better with time
