hey, great video! i'm probably will follow your steps for my future MG Banshee! i have some question, so i'm planning to get my self MG Unicorn OVA in a couple of months and i noticed that the inner frame is in kinda gunmetal(?) color instead of regular gray like the ver.KA version, should i apply top coat too for the inner frame? (probably either the Super Smooth Clear Flat or UV Cut Flat, haven't decide) also what do you think of instead applying the topcoat per parts as in your video vs per kit's limb (separate the head, torso, arms, legs and topcoat them indivdually)? thanks!
Thank you for watching the video! First, the answer to the first question. If the runner is gunmetal colored, I recommend not spraying the top coat. The reason I did a matte finish on the inner frame is because the basic gray glossy texture is not pretty. However, the gunmetal colored inner frame is pretty cool on its own :) The answer to the second question. If you don't care about some parts not having a matte finish when transforming from unicorn mode to destroy mode, then go with your opinion. On the other hand, if you care, I recommend doing it part by part like I did in the video. For example, if you do a matte finish on the upper body (assembled in unicorn mode), the chest parts (D10, D11) will not have any finish on the inner surface that is visible in destroy mode. On the other hand, if you spray a matte finish in destroy mode, the glossy psycho frame will become matte. I did the finish on each part to prepare for this situation. There is no perfect way, so I hope you think about it slowly and make your kit well. Thank you :)

도색을 거의 하지 않으시는데도 저정도 완성도라면 굳이 티타늄피니쉬를 사지 않아도 될것같습니다 잘봤습니다
감사합니다~! 무광 마감만 깔끔히 되면 충분히 고퀄로 완성됩니다. 반대로 마감재 뿌릴 여건이 안 된다면 조립만으로 충분한 티타늄 피니시도 좋습니다:)
Did you paint the main body parts? ( the main dark blue parts) if so what color?
Those parts are not painted! I only sprayed matte finish :)

Yes, I love katoki's work! I also really like Second V. But unfortunately I don't plan to make Hg T.T I hope it comes out as MG ver.ka. If it's released, I'll definitely make a review!

If the matte finish is sprayed thickly, there is a high possibility that the paint will clump together and cause whitening. 좋은 영상 감사합니다. 혹시 먹선 넣을 때 팁 같은게 있을까요?? 영상과 같이 보라색 먹선을 넣을라 하는데 생각보다 잘 안되고 면봉으로 주변정리 하려고 하면 다 빨아드리더라구요.. ㅠㅠ
패널라인이 깊지 않은 경우 면봉이 다 빨아드리는 경우가 있죠 ㅠㅠ 그럴 땐 조금 귀찮더라도 먹선으로 넣은 도료를 다 말린 다음에 신너를 살짝 묻힌 모형용 정밀 면봉으로 먹선 부분에 닿지 않게 주변만 살살 닦아내는 게 좋습니다!

@@추배뱌 음 그 정도면 사용하시는 패널라이너가 이미 묽은 게 아닐까 싶네요. 추가로 에나멜을 넣거나 한 게 아니시면 도료 바닥면에 침전물 없을 때까지 최대한 흔드셔서 사용해 보시는 걸 추천드립니다! 그래도 흐리다면 비슷한 색의 에나멜을 패널라이너에 더 넣으셔야 할 것 같은데, 이건 저도 시도해 본 적이 없어서ㅜㅜ 최후의 수단으로 생각하시면 될 것 같습니다!(혹시 모르니 정크 프라나 남는 부품으로 테스트 하시고요)

I didn't paint the inside to prevent light-bleed. Only the outside has been painted or coated:) (some parts may have been painted inside, but not to prevent light bleed)

차폐력때문에 노란파츠에 검정색을 뿌리고 위에 골드로 덧칠하신 것 같은데, 밴시 버카에 들어있는 다크그레이색의 정크 부품에 바로 골드 칠하는건 어떨까요? 검정 락카가 없네요..ㅎㅎ
검은색을 먼저 뿌린 이유는 차폐력보단 반사 느낌을 좋게 하려고 그런 거고요, 메탈릭 계열 스프레이는 차폐력이 좋아서 아무 런너에 그냥 뿌리셔도 됩니다!

Thank you! I broke the antenna of a normal unicorn during a transformationT.T But don't worry, the Banshee has fixed antennas. Complete it nicely :)
@@KatokiHolic I know the feel, I used the transformable antenna on my RG Unicorn and it broke when I accidentally touched it, I had to replace it with the fixed one. I love the designs of the Unicorn series and the complexity of the gunpla, but it is so stressful to transform and pose them.
@@manamaster6 I agree with you. So I rarely transform Unicorn Gundam. The arms of my mg full armor unicorn were glued together. I think it's best to buy two unicorns and display them in their respective modes :)

군제 바이올렛은 락카 신너로 지웠고, 리얼터치 마커는 제가 지우려는 시도를 해본 적이 없네요. 이건 시간 나면 테스트해 보고 말씀드리겠습니다!

유니콘 뿔 전면을 스프레이로 도색하면 측면에 안번지나요?
아주 살짝 번졌었습니다. 심하진 않아서 삐져나온 부분만 면봉으로 라커 묻혀서 살살 지웠습니다!
궁금한게 몇개 있는데 먹선 지우실때 바로 지우시나요 아니면 건조후 지우시나요? 먹선 지울때 아무것도 안무친 맨 면봉으로 지우시나요 아니면 마커 지우개 같은거 묻혀서 지우시나요?
건담 마커로 사용한 경우는 거의 바로 주변 지우는 정리해 줍니다! 그리고 지울 땐 우선 물 안 묻힌 상태에서 지워보고, 지운 후에 색이 너무 진해 보이면 그때 물을 묻혀 지웁니다. 지금 이 킷의 경우는 거의 물 안 썼습니다! 마커 지우개는 아직 사용해 본 적 없습니다:)
