94. Acting, Life and Reinvention with Tim Omundson (Video Interview)
Best known for his roles as Detective Carlton Lassiter in Psych and King Richard in Galavant, today I’m talking to Tim Omundson.
After suffering a serious stroke in 2017, that caused him to need to learn to eat and walk again, today Tim is sharing his nearly 7 year journey of adaptation, perseverance and reinvention, that allowed him to act again in This is Us and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Listen in to hear myself and a longtime friend talk about all things life, television, touring, podcasting and so much more.

This week, I cleaned out my office cabinet, and I found decades of journals dating back to 1976. They were filled with memories, emotions, repetitive thoughts, overthinking, and growth. When writing them, the journals served as a therapeutic tool that helped me process feelings and provide clarity to my overthinking mind. Reading them now allows me to reflect on how my past experiences shaped m...

104. The Summer I Turned 60
Переглядів 102 місяці тому
As summer comes to an end, I’ve given myself a homework assignment to reflect on the summer I turned 60. When I was younger, I loved summer, but this year, I was dreading it. I faced a quieter summer, as my grown children were an ocean away, and many of my friends were travelling. But I was determined to make the most of the summer by embracing change and seeking joy in my life, regardless of t...

He embraced that role so perfectly that I absolutely believe Monk is a part of him or that he is a part of Monk. Well, hopefully just the best parts - Monk could be very cold and selfish towards the emotional suffering of others. At the same time, he risked his life again and again for Sharona and Natalie (and even Julie once) as his way of showing love. Even though cops are supposed to protect the public as part of the job, he had to go the extra mile because he had to overcome a lot of fear and anxiety to jump in with both feet. And he didn’t hesitate. Not even for a second. That’s the good part of Monk!

thanka a lot for very interesting podcast. People in the past in order to memories information were walking together and were telling stories and singing songs. In helped them to use their country as a memory gym. Currently we sit a lot and watch UA-cam or Facebook and it makes us stupid if we overuse it. What do you think if we start walking and sharing stories, songs, like people in the past, in order to be more energized, have better memory and be healthy? Would you like to create a cource of learning while walking?
