Personally I think the Dreyfuss Hudson is one of the most handsome streamline locomotives. I will, however, have to agree that the horn was WAAAAAY overused. Two or three long-long-short-long sequences would have been quite ample over the entire video. Even the prototype didn't blast it that often.

This is an impressive layout with a rather informative introduction. Truly something for all of us, in which to be inspired!

The real one ran a hell of a lot smother than that one.

Streamliners don't really do much for me. I was far more interested in the heavyweight consist visible at the start. However, I still enjoyed the video (yes, I gave it a thumbs-up), and watching the structures and scenery roll by.

Actually it is slowed from the original. It was about 50 scale mph and I cut the speed in half so you are only going 25 or so. The reason it looks fast is the field of view.

As you can see it runs great! I hope that Fox Valley does more HO. This I understand is their first venture in HO. They are mainly N scale. There have been rumors about them doing the Hiawatha Hudson.
