@@ElevateYourselfOfficial College involved playing SF2 for hours on other people's quarters. :) I met my wife at pick-up volleyball but our first date definitely involved some Street Fighter. In retrospect I'm surprised that even worked out considering how many times her rolling Blanca got uppercut. We retired after the Championship Edition golden age. That Turbo Hyper-fighting non-sense was too much.

The gold bracket was "double elimination". Future Fathers had lost one match in the bracket previously, Dude wipes - no losses. So when Future Fathers beat Dude Wipes (in 2 sets), then they were both even at 1 loss each. The Final 'match' was then a single set. That match gave one team their second loss, eliminating them, hence a winner. If Dude Wipes had won the first 2 sets (or 2 of 3 sets) that would have been the end. They came in with an advantage being undefeated.

That match was playing at the same time as this one. Sadly it's a one man show... 'two places at once' issues and all that. Honestly I was expecting 352 in the Finals. This was my plan to not have them in all 3 matches filmed that day. Didn't work out. :( Clearly we need a second unit next year. Who's in?

This is the 18 y/o division, so these are high school seniors. It's so late in the year they are probably all 18 at this point.

Sadly no, it would have been too much. Our Texas club was playing at the BJNC. I still have no clue what happened with the California clubs, but I am eagerly awaiting the documentary. I was already in Orlando for Adult Opens 4 weeks ago. Headed to the VLA Tier 1 Championship this weekend. Do check that out on the VLA channel, we'll be producing the livestream. Hopefully nail that. :)

@@Team_Woot cus usa over lapped a big tourney over a big hs tourney and they refused to change it. they had no communication whatsoever and ignored everyone who tried contacting them. they also heavily favor girls vb cus that’s where all the money comes from

@@cartvb Thanks for the info. The girl$ volleyball thing checks out, it's understandable but unfortunate. Double-booking a date seems like an unforced error. It's probably pretty hard to move a tournament date (venues, logistics, etc) but you still need to explain that to people. I guess when you force people to make a choice, they do.

Yeah. No room to serve, no place to get a camera back far enough, and to top it off, let's paint the lines "wood color". This is actually the college stomping-ground where I learned to play. Must be why I never amounted to more than a B-team club player. :)

This is an "adult" tournament. They are probably in their mid-20s, average.

Yeah, their libero was out sick, they took turns filling in for him. Kind of a bummer, it would have been nice to see where they would have finished (over the weekend) with the full team.
