    The bow madness was their mid level bow. My son has a 2013 or 14 Pse dna sp that’s as light as today’s light carbon bows and as fast as the fastest one. Shoots lights out… quiet too. Two great bows there always need a back up

      @@michaelschnitzer4054 I had a 2013 PSE Vendetta DC it was part of their pro-line still my favorite bow that I have owned to this day. I always wanted one of the PSE Bow Madness bows when they came out that was still when Matthews and PSE were battling for the fastest solo cams and I could never stand Matthews.

    I bought my nephew's Carbon Icon that's 3 years old and it's noisy as hell. It was very quiet when he first bought it. Last year he had a bow shop replace the string and I've tried almost everything and it has this hollow slap sound when I shoot. I replaced the cable slide with a PSE Vibracheck roller, replaced the string stop with a Hi Tek Archery Sand bag, tried 4 monkey tails on the string, and tried moving the string stop around. Nothing gets rid of that sound. Now I'm wondering if it's just the type of string the bow shop installed. I notice you have those stick-on limb dampeners, did you notice a difference? I have two of the BowJax large stick-on dampeners coming in the mail, but I'm doubting that's going to do anything.

      @@badcrcz I never ran into the hollow snap noise. I ran the stock string and then dominant strand aftermarket string no issues with either of those as far as extra noise. I just had a lot of vibration in the riser that's why I added the limb dampeners and then put the small dampeners on the riser itself.

    If the Music wasn't such crap I'd watch . Just to see how loud the bow is. Might even consider one if I could get an idea on that. But it's an hour drive to go find out for myself. So I'll see if I can find another video to see if they give us any idea. On speed & how loud maybe even give some info . But just can't get thru 1st full 2 Minutes of this .

      @@controversialhunter8032 if you would watch the whole video there's a section of the video where I'm shooting the bow right in front of the camera and you would be able to hear it loud and clear.

    very fun test to watch. For us mortals a 100 yd shot is a long long ways and not too easy- also everything matters. You definately had a breeze to deal with too. The 20 and 50 yds is negligble .There is definately something to say about having an "ol reliable" bow that you know very well, that can pay off with experience factor. The 10 yr difference is in the noise, let-off, repeatability, ease of tuning and a little speed. Thanks for the video- I enjoyed it. By the way- I have an SR350 in Kuiu Verde, it is a great bow. My only gripe is it is pretty heavy imo.

      @chasesomethingoutdoors5081 5 місяців тому

      They both have their pros and cons I will agree with you that the sr350 is a bit heavy. Which I think with the introduction of the Lift the other manufacturers are going to have to put their bows on a diet. For the PSE what's a solo cam so the tuning is fairly easy, the limb set is a bit narrower so it takes a few more seconds to dial in the pin float, it is a bit noisier but it is quite a bit lighter. All that being said my sr350 is my primary I can shoot that bow lights out most days!!! As for shooting at distance TAC really got me practicing the longer shots and in the past 5 years I have gotten substantially better at distance.
