Do Non custodial parents need to submit IDOC?
Thank you so much for doing this!!
hi! i know im a year late but when i try and upload the documents it doesn’t take me to the next page ? it isnt my wifi nor my device because ive tried on others and it doesn’t work :(
I am working on the 2025-2026 css profile so I have to go by my 2023 tax return. We are now in 2024 and it's asking me for my 2025 income. I just lost my job, so I don't know what 2025 will be. What should i put?? I tried unknown but it doesn't take it. Only digits. Please help. Thank you
Do I put calworks as untaxed income
Where do we find the answer for the following question, "A health savings account (HSA) (required)? 16:25 in your presentation. Thank you!
Should I put her ssn if she doesn’t do taxes
Does my mom have to create a css profile if I already put her information in my css profile?
Can you tell me if there is an option in the forms to indicate my new marital status (widower) and there is a way to let the decision makers know that both of my twins are aplying to college the same year. Thanks for this great video!
Peg, I cannot thank you enough for going through all this AND using divorced parents as your example! You really helped our family! This whole process shouldn't have to be so daunting and confusing for working families. Thank you, again! :)
how do i translate my documents if i am an international student and all of them are in the language of my home country?
There's something called Google
What’s the difference between the question asking Wages and other earned income, and how much did X earn? Seems like the same question??
When asked how much my parents earned should I put gross or net salary. Pls it is urgent, if someone can answer
Peg you are amazing by providing this info! Thank you so much for your help with this form. Love all your insights and tips. You took some of my stress out of my shoulders yay!! :)
Where do you submit the tax forms ?
Thanks! Is it for International students too?
When adding siblings that are in college, the cost of attendance and scholarship information is not required. Do you still suggest leaving this blank or is it better to list the cost of attendance actually being paid to show that extra expense? Can we add that info but leave scholarship info blank?
Leave it blank! Only share the required information at this point.
My husband and I are still legally married and still file a joint tax return, but we live in separate households. How would this work?
Raphaelle Inlet
45189 O'Hara Crest
Do I put the student or the parents information?
Can u provide a link for ur video explaining that trick or something...?
Thank you. This was very helpful. I noticed that they ask about HSA but not FSA. Since FSA contributions are a very explicit and common entry in a W2 are we not required to enter it. Or do we enter it, but also enter the same amount as medical expenses so they cancel off?
Mam plz say how can I complete CSS profile free? I'm from Bangladeshi. I don’t have much money to give them Dollar
As a parent- If parents stay in Africa so our earnings are in Africa but asset and investment in India in such cases which currency we should use
What if the non custodial parent does not want to proved the information or complete ignores the request? Will that delay my child’s application. Is there a way to waive that requirement?
Reach out to the college financial aid department to explain your situation. They should be able to advise you on how to proceed. It is up to the college.
Are questions on living with others required?
I am a parent who believes college is unnecessary for most jobs. I love learning, but I have access to so much information these days I don't need college. I feel like it is an antiquated system, and I would love to see most of them go out of business. However, instead of accepting their fate, the colleges have the government bullying parents to fill out FAFSA, with hopes of luring kids in with the dream of "free money". I'm irritated with the FAFSA emails bugging me to fill out information. I don't want strangers to throw money at our family. I don't want my kids owing money to these banks. Anybody else thinking these thoughts? What ever happened to taking a class here and there and paying cash?
Does anyone know which colleges ask about family cars in their CSS? I know Harvard does now, and I know UVA asked when I applied 30 years ago.
Thank you, Peg! Your explanations made it easy to understand and complete the form .You rock!👏👏
Hi, i want ask you, if an ambitious international student looking for a scholarship or financial aid, how can he apply? Thanks
Thanks

For students going to college in fall 2025, do we start to fill out CSS profile and FAFSA right now? Do we use both 2022 and 2023 tax return or just 2022? Your presentation is very helpful with the step to step details. Thank you!!
Thank you as always.
This is such a helpful resource-thank you so much for offering it!
Glad it was helpful!
Please how can I download my CSS profile after payment and share it with my college
You have it sent through the College Board/CSS Profile website. There is a charge to send it to your college that you must pay first.
HELP GUYS PLEASE. HOW CAN I ELIMINATE A COLLEGE ON THE CSS PROFILE IF I ALREADY PUT IT IN? PLEASE IT IS AN EMERGENCY
Good morning, Peg. Thank you for your brief life saver videos that helps me going thru all these stressful steps. Now that my son has gone thru his 1st year, and I am about to complete the 2024-2025 CSS profile, but when I am in the dashboard, I don't see where I can start a new form for the school year. Any thoughts? Greatly appreciated!
I have a question. I am a US citizen. I completed my high school education in a foreign country. I have my credentials evaluated. I am confused about how to fill the high school education part of the form. I chose high school graduate then I had to choose the US state and high school I graduated from. How would I complete this section?
How do I know if I have to apply for 2023-2024 or 2024-2025??
Thank you! I am divorced and the wording for the filing parent is very confusing, often using “parents” plural. Or did the question mean “parent’s” in the possessive? This form could have been worded better. Examples could have been provided to make it easier. Thank you so much for explaining everything in this video. It definitely helped!

Excellent and so patience doing this for all of us parents! Thank you so much. Yes is very helpful.
When my daughter got to the financial section, she was not asked about family size or number of students in school. Did we miss something? This is around the nine minutes and 45 second mark in the video.
