Yea, the more you watch the more YT will recommend to you. I have another account to use it for video ideas and I'm seeing more YT short accounts use Reddit stories

I've seen the similar behavior with a channel I took over and it's been a battle to revive it now! Sub right back from my other account 🙏🏼

@@mynoralexander After an update a bit over a year ago, My share to Subscribers/Subscription feed option was unchecked for the longest time.. I saw that it wasn’t a default checked option.. So I re-checked it and hasn’t been the same sense.. I watched a video saying to NOT check it if the video isn’t in the “niche” and instead of sharing it to subscribers that won’t watch or not interested.. UA-cam would more so recommend to new channels that do mess with that type of content.. Tried it with my latest video.. and… That wasn’t true.. I never had a video go live to just one play ever in life … bad info..

Yea this update messed a few of my channels up too. Had the same thing happen to my 50k sub channel and I've tried switching a lot of the settings on/off and even then it's struggling to gain momentum. A year later and we've only grown by 8k new subs. There is another setting, which has worked for 1 of my smaller channels: 1. Channel customization 2. Home tab 3. For you (more settings) 4. Recent content only (Content you’ve posted in the last 12 months) This was a smaller channel with 5k and now its at 200+ subs a day after enabling this setting. But again there wasn't much to work with since it was a "new channel" so this setting still falls under their most recent videos, which are under 100 videos in total.

I do the same when working on my channel. I open a private browser and listen/watch for hidden healing messages. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. I love that UA-cam continues to push out creators content long after posting. Looking forward to watching one of your videos 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
