👍 I worked on an 04 R6 for a while, they are such a nice and still modern looking bike for their age and now working on mine, it has so much in common still

I think it’s very comfortable and feels like a natural position. Obviously not as comfy as naked or more upright bike. But for a sport bike I feel comfortable

Thanks for watching 🙏 I did put the bracket back on, but I got the corrosion removed and got it resprayed as it was right in the firing line from spray from the wheel. It was in a bit of a state. It took a couple of days to get it sprayed and dried, so it didn’t make the video. Appreciate you noticing and warning 👍

Thanks, yeah they spring return to open without the cables. But would pay to check. When you take of the little carbon cover you can put a spanner on the top of the valve nut and turn it you will see it springs back to the original position. Before I took out the cable I actually looked inside and marked the top nut to show the valve open position as I was curious to see when the valve open and closes. 👍

Ive not seen any either, even the racing fairing kits that i have seen don’t come with a tank cover. Is it badly damaged or just changing colour? Spray or wrap might have to be the way forward

@MTPOV85 Just changing color. Seems like getting it painted would be pretty expensive. Did you wrap yours? I've thought about trying it but haven't wrapped anything before.

Btw what exhaust are you running on that bike?

It does seem expensive, wrap might be easier and can be done on the bike. My bike should have actually been red, when I bought it, it came with white tank and white wrecked fairings. I wanted to put it back to the original stock red, but as the tank wasn’t too bad I just went with white again so I didn’t have to deal with this issue you’re now having. It’s a pain isn’t it

It connects into the GYTR exhaust as well, you have to just tie the cable above the exhaust

Thanks for the comment and Sub 👍, congrats on the bike they are an amazing bike. I haven’t used any of the ceramic products really. I normally get around any smears after drying with a detailer or quick wax (spray). I typically use Maguiars as that what I’ve used on my cars. That normally works a treat and then makes washing it the next time a lot easier. I believe the ceramic coating products would do that even better though. Let me know how you get on with what you use.

I was told by my father who used to ride motorbikes is to treat everyone else as tho they r stupid n u can't go much wrong there for example if they r turning n u r waiting to come out don't pull out in front just incase they don't realise that the indicators r on ...👌✌

Hi, I now have this fitted on my 2017 R6, is fits good and the bracket just misses the yoke nut. You can see it in my R6 videos. The measurement between the two bolts is 128mm, hope this helps
