I wouldn't say T1 demolished them in draft but rather in game. BLG draft was not that bad, its good even. Ahri B1 is actually genius cuz its forced T1 to deny Vi, so they trade Vi for a good blind mid and secure a tier 1 pick in Skarner B2. As for T1 they don't really have a good prio pick to respond other than Gnar. So with jungle and top picks gone, they can feel more secure about drafting less damage as those are the main roles for tanks. And in theory, T1 should never let Poppy open with their comp. So this is literally just players dif, I'd favor BLG draft 9 times out of 10 here.

T1 is getting scary, they looked really good against TES. The biggest takeaway I’ve seen is their early game (was horrid in summer) and when T1 has good early games they thrive even more in team fights.

The problem with Gam draft is that they have 2 red side games. With how many high prio champs and viable pocket picks this meta have. Blue side is just waaaaay stronger and red side losed it counter pick protential because of the amount of good blind/flex picks. Gam doesn't seem to have an answer for Skarner, Nid so that's 2 bans gone. The last ban you haveto either choosed between Yone, set up your1st phase draft or target ban. Either way, you'll loose. Game 1 is a massive blunder for showing our hand waaaaaay too early with the Akali R1, so we got hard counter and I guess decided to pivot with the Smolder R5 as aback up lategame assurance? Game three with the Aurora getting through was a god sent. Levi managed to convinced MAD that his Wukong is just as much of a must ban as his Shyvana, and the Poppy is to cover their draft later. And the Kiaya absolutely wreck havoc under the cover of Noctune's ult. Has not Levi drawn so much of MAD focus during the 1st ban phase, I don't think ww could have won that series.

Faker and t1 coaching staff was really atrociuos this year, he has like 5 games whole year on Yone wich is the most brocken pick of summer playoffs and this worlds tournament, he has like 2 games i think on smolder games again smolder one of the power picks like anyone on the whole organization did not see this coming? Neeko was not the issue here. The draft was okay for T1 testing waters in their 1st game but Oner was not really useful in teamfights as his ults on wukong was fairly lacking

I feel like they lost this game 90% because their draft cannot fight HLE's draft at any point in the game. Like they realise halfway through the match that they lose 5v5 really hard so they have to play around it and thats cuz their draft was stinky. Big offender is poppy lillia topside. Lillia has a miserable time vs braum sej ashe and doesnt do anything for the poppy + smolder cooks g2's comp unbelievably hard. I honestly think g2's two biggest issues in this game were a bad draft and a terrible early game thats about it.

I dont think the draft proves G2 are the hope of EU, i think their mid/late game macro decisions do. drafting lilia with 3 even/losing lanes is wrong and against good teams like HLE you will get punished early game (like in this game) but overall G2 macro should be the factor of hope for the west, with a better draft to help mitigate early game its possible that they can beat anyone.

Nice video, also the whole, passive gets cooled down when landing Q thing is in fact a thing. I think landing an auto during a q burst could be advantageous.

Could be an experimental game from T1 to see if there's any pick to shutdown Aurora but that's still a strech. She's way too busted to let through. Rakhan and Wukong kinda canibalized the Neeko pick, you can have too much engage as we found out. The lack of front line tank and back line access just gave Jhin the free pass to the best game of his life. And Ashe alone aint gonna cut though Rell, Renek and Skarner. We see it in game times and times again, the comp just couldn't handle team fight. Jhin always get to free fire, Ashe couldn't keep up with 3 tanks, Neeko no matter how good the engage is, the team just never have enough burst to take down priority target before the got their ult off. And with Neeko, Rakhan, Wukong and Jax, its basically a mosh pit for Aurora to burst down.

I've played League since 2012, right when Jayce came out. It's slowly gone downhill because Riot cares more about making money from cosmetics than actually balancing the game. It's obvious they appeal to the professional players by how they balance. You can't type anymore, or people just report you. The "gl:hf" days are long gone. Yea, I wanna play to win, but when I have a first time Pyke in a draft game who only has a total of maybe 200 games under his belt, yea I don't wanna play with that? But I'm just supposed to hold my tongue and not say shit while getting matched against a diamond smurf??? That makes a whole lotta sense. Not to mention the ridiculous bots now. Yet I keep playing because you when you actually WIN it feels gratifying and that's how League preys upon your dopamine.

Okay, ngl I dont know why u have such negative thoughts about JP draft. Poppy is exodia vs 4 champs. Kaisa can never hit anyone ever = always dead if aa range. Leona cant ult anyone properly. Aurora insane value with ult this game. The worst thing about the draft is BY FAR the yone renekton rotation. 2 champs that does almost the same that are getting countered by the same champ and they just pick it so their OWN YONE PICK doesnt get counterd by rene flex. 2. draft is more arguable As you said seju b1 is kinda not the best anymore. Rest of first b3picks are fine into enemy. Personally i dont like r1. Just not as strong as people value it and also not use it to his limits. Nocturne ori is mega good but then i hard dislike the reksai and alistar. Reksai wants to full early game and ali is weakest champ lvl 1. Kinda speaks for itself. SO 2. draft is hard won by 100 for sure
