47 here. Skated from about ‘85 to ‘99. Having given up rugby, mountain biking and snowboarding over the years due to work, money and injuries, I’ve just bought a new deck and started using it to mess around in the driveway to get back to fitness… if I can get back to being able to do a simple frontside nose grind and land the odd kickflip, I’ll be happy, but just rolling around and kick turning is enough to make me smile… I’ll never land a Cab Air off a vert ramp, but hell, I couldn’t do that at 18 😂

you are the best beginner i ever saw lol, "lets just start" goes down a incline slope. when i first started (37), i didnt even know how to get on the board or push off.

That is s really cool place to hang and skate. Wow. 58 years old and have not really skated since the late 70s but now want to just cruise around a bit like old times.

I havent skated in like 6 years but surprisingly I still remember how to ollie and some stuff, I am 18 now. Its never too late

im 37 (i think anyway) and i have recently got the urge to start doing this. i dont think i will though, sadly too self conscious too worried about being accused of something nasty. im pathetlc, keep at it and dont be like me. the list of reasons to do it are many though, its helthy, environmentally friendly travel, its mentally stimulating and if anyone messes with you you have basically a weapon at ur feet.

Bought my first skateboard at 35. Took one month time to learn cruising. cant really tell if I want to learn the tricks. No real skateboard parks here at my place. Just normal parks. But the best part is that I have started a skateboarding workshop for the kids to learn. That has been really fun. Nice video .. thanks

So im 40, and my kids found my skateboard. Not my original from when i was young, but a birthday gift my wife bought me for my 30th. I was too nervous to really get onto it. I have since bought them their own, and although im still nervous to do anything more than ride around, they have given me a reason to give it another shot. This video is encouraging.

I started at 43, I’m 46 can Ollie decently, FS180, manual, ugly shuvit, slappies. But above all, I lost 35 kgs and feel like 34 years old, and I have so much fun.

I'm 59,and still go for a gentle roll around the UK skate parks ,when no one is around!!! Makes me happy!!xxx

Midlife crisis is not skateboarding in your forties. Midlife crisis In your forties is something completely different. Like you’ll know a when a midlife crisis hits. You’ll be questioning your life choices. If you’re skateboarding in your forties then your past the “midlife crisis” Ain’t no forty year old skateboarding during a midlife crisis.

35 and just got my first board 2 weeks ago!!! It's been fun so far & I'm doing better than I expected 😊 I'm glad the dream stayed alive!

Same here bro. I’ve always been fascinated by skateboarding, when I was young music came in, studies and these and those. Now that I’m a dad of a boy, I decided to push my boy to skate and I bought myself one too so my boy would have skate buddy plus it’s about time for me to do this. I believe I can do this even tough I’m 42 yo now, let’s go

I was skateing as a teen a little bit. Cruising around, do little ollies and grinds, nothing fancy and cool. Now I'm 45 and I think about it to give it another try.

At 27 I'm finally giving it a go. First session I came off it pretty hard, I kept going so the fear didn't set in. But man the day after I could barely move. It's been a couple days and I can finally walk properly again and will be up to trying for a second session soon. This time I might grab a helmet though.
