Its going to be incredibly hard to stay up this year but feeling very hopeful with these two at the helm for the longer term health of the team. Saturday was a bit of a poor performance but we still looked like we were far more solid than our last 5-6 home games by a country mile.

When we play short and direct football and fast tempo we look good. It's the playing the long ball or hoofing it up the pitch that kills us we don't have the height for starters except for jasper and who used to play for us (callum) and on the counter attack our defense are just too scared to put a tackle in. Looked at this coz the one result that caught my eye was this one. That seems to have hurt😮. Gate are a division below now and I doubt they're a team of Saaf Essicks bullies. What has happened to the Bognor pitch? Always historically a brilliant surface and this year it’s poor, brown and doesn’t look like it will last when the bad weather comes. I remember years ago when the groundsman of that time had scaffold poles in the areas to stop the keepers warming up in them to help protect the most vulnerable area. That doesn’t happen now!
