Dolores at her best 👌👏👏☘️🇮🇪👋
Could you send me this album it was playing in the background of my whole childhood
Wow.
Thats very good
I actually bought this album on vinyl in my teens, and still have it! I was into completely different music at the time - pop, dance, synth - but I.just loved her voice so much. I think everyone thought I was losing the plot when I arrived home with it. The album is still amazing.
Lovely comment Padraig. You obviously had good taste ! Still sounds brilliant .. And Frankie Gavin.. enough said !!
Music for me , love it!!!! Music for the soul .
I had the great privilege of hearing Dolores sing in Clarenville, Newfoundland once upon a long time ago." The Sweet Forget Me Not" is of course a well loved Newfoundland song.
"composed in 1877 by Bobby Newcomb of Cincinnati . Merry Christmas!!
@@kenobrienable Thanks, I did know that. I dare say you could stop anyone on the street in Newfoundland and they would be able to sing you a few bars of the "Sweet Forget-me-not" and I doubt very much that would be the case in Cincinnati today! I believe Dolores learned it when she visited Newfoundland in the early '80's,as well as "Sonny's Dream" which certainly a Newfoundland song. And a Happy New Year!
Very nice
If I ever find the cd, I'll buy it just for this song.
!!!

@k5intx His name is Donnell Leahy
The Leahy Women are so talented and oh SO SO SO SO SO SO Beautiful.............XOXOXOXOXOXOX!
i want to see their concert in live
What year was this from?
They are Scottish/Irish - Canadian.
Ethnically Leahy are Scottish and Irish, their nationality is Canadian. They play a Canadian version of their heritage music, from Scotland and Ireland. They are joined by the Chieftains, who are Irish both in their ethnicity and nationality.
Any time you can leave the Cheiftain's setting there with a look of WTF just happened, you are indeed great.
Leahy family / group is Canadian, from Lakefield, Ontario. The Chieftains are irish.
...*gasp*...
I think this is pretty dreadful. The Chieftains look as though they weren't expecting it either!

They're all such sweethearts. Last time I was at Natalie and Donnell's house they were going through the rounds teaching the kids- every kid has a half hour lesson each on dancing and fiddling every day. Adorable :)
OH WOW! Beatifull...

I love all the history and talent of Celtic music, but I have to say it, I just can't help it- HE'S SO HOT!!! :D
Saw them when they came to the Eisemann Center in Dallas and loved every moment of it :D
This video is bursting with energy and downright joy.
