My first big coal plant in ðat giant lake by starter area 1 uses a 2 logistics floors since I have the whole lower lake covered, one's under everyþing hiding ðe water pumps and one is ðe 1st floor of ðe coal buildings. I put ðe coal power plants on ðe second and þird floors for space along wið having a clean industrial look where one could still traverse part of ðe logistic floor to watch production happen if wanting to :33

I would like to play in a new biome, with a difficult, almost impossible environment and some kind of terraforming technology. And yes, this new biome could be on another planet! Regarding price, if the game costs 30, I would gladly pay 29,99 for this DLC.

One thing i love about the game : You can exit to desktop in 4 second Esc, exit to desktop, comfirm. Thats it. Hope more (all) games do this

i'm going to use OC supercomputer on my world simply because i overproduced radio control units - making 25 per min - and i'm using 4 for pressure conversion cubes, leaving 21 for turbo motors - since i'm making 10 modular engines /min i can only make 4 thermal propulsion rockets and i will have spare radio control units - meaning i can make some OC supercomputers - i need to use more of the resource nodes around me anyways as a lot of them are producing 780 and only using ~200, so i can just steal from other production lines to make cooling devices which is exciting i will definitely keep this video in mind for future playthroughs though

Personally, I think a DLC is very likely, though I would give it a bit before buying because of the post 1.0 personnel changes, especially with the person heading up the team changing. My only reservation with a volcano area is making part of any new area inaccessible for factory building. One of the very good aspects of this game is it is possible to build anywhere within the confines of the map, even in the void pit areas. Actually, doing something like a seismic event creating a land bridge to a new area of the map is an idea that comes to mind.

So this is a wish list to Coffee Stain - ok. Some nice ideas you have. I did cheat and watch a spoiler video, so I have some idea how things ends, yet I still will play the game because it is fun. Even at my low level of advancement ADA has a questionable personality (motivational speech - "Choo choo motherf*cker" - really?). During the FICSMAS event, that cassette tape :P And who are these aliens - sing me a river of blood? Going overseas to explore some of these mysteries would make for a good 2.x and/or DLC.

I would rather spend 60 euros on a satisfactory DLC than on a Ubisoft or EA game

Satisfactory is not only an amazing game with so many life improving game functions it was written by a bunch of incredibly mature coders. I have nothing to do with it, but have played many hours. You can easily see how well it behaves and functions. It is unlike any other game.

why you´re thinking so small? give us a new map set on another planet for 10 bucks every 2 years and coffee stain could make millions for the next 10-15 years.

The best DLC would be another part of the planet we're on, another island we see in the distance, to terraform different biomes.

The most logical way to go would be the Factorio way. Send it to space and then to explore other planets.

I think it would be cool to add some of the elements that they weren't interested in doing with the game. So the competition pieces of it. Also adding something that you could have to deal with the resources running out. Something where you could deal with the machines breaking down. A little robot or somebody that you could send out to do some work for you. With this robot element I'm talking about, even something where things that you do would make that not work out well. I think that's pretty far down an AI rabbit hole for the game.

Or instead of a DLC, add some much needed QoL features - like having coords on the hud, including the vertical (Height) coord. Also it would be nice to have vertical nudge up and down, and the power to nudge existing structures without having to delete and rebuild them. But yeah, I would buy pretty much any DLC :) Love the game!

Everyone plays the game differently and whether or not you want to use logistics floors is up to you. Personally I love them because it allows me to get around a large factory without having to hop over belts all day long. Of course, the bad thing about them is not being able to see your resources being moved around, especially when there is an issue. When issues arise, it can be a nightmare to trace your belts and usually involves removing foundations to find the problem. But in general, I’d recommend trying them and seeing if you like them and if not, don’t use them. That can be said for many things in the game. Don’t listen to everyone, form your own opinions.

A snow biome, a lava biome, zones requiring the use of special buildings 🤤 More aggressive animals. Animals that can destroy machines to force players to isolate their infrastructures. 🤤

I remember in an older interview, Hannah said she would only add snow to the game if she could do it *perfectly.* That said, a polar expedition could be very neat, with a low-temperature suit that you need to craft to visit the biome safely, with abandoned factory structures left by another Pioneer rather than crash sites, maybe even an inoperable Space Elevator that you're tasked with bringing back online.

A space biom would be cool

Something id like to see is a snowy mountain biome. Could include a few crash sites with new alt recipies. Would also be cool to see some sort of volcano as a centerpiece with maybe a pure sam ore and an abundance of nitrogen gas. The surroundings could have many clusters of ores (like with the iron in the grass fields) also would be cool to see some sort of flying alpha creature (kinda like the bees but bigger i guess). Edit: Would also be cool to see tungsten as well as a new building similar to a manufacturer but with more inputs and outputs.

DLC IDEA: You can use the parts from phase 5 to make a rocket, and then you can use that rocket to fly to that fire planet that we see in the sky every night. and that could be the fireworld. I WANT A + HALF WALL + HALF WINDOW + AND A DOOR WITH A WINDOW Thank you for reading this. :]

I think that just now they are working a bit more toward releasing console version. I know that they are working with an external developer for the porting so not all resources are for the porting and probably are working for a dlc as well.

oc supers are pretty cool for lazy people like me, cause I'm already in process of making massive aluminum fabs for turbo motors, which require cooling systems anyways and rc units are also used for some end game things like pressure cubes (wtf does it need radio for lol) used nuclear pasta and turbo motors

I've mixed logistic floors with the overall factory. They usually come into play when I have multiple products produced on the same level (for example 4 items to make heavy modular frames) and then send the output up the next level where I organize the belts so that on the next level above these four items flow right into the manufacturers on the level above. Otherwise, it would be spaghetti belts criss-crossing trying to get the manufacturers.

@1:02:36 You need block signals on both the entrance and exit tracks of both railway stations as they each need to be in seperate blocks. The same is required for all station bypass track segments. Otherwise the train path signalling and block signals will get confused. The pathing signals should be used to control entry into a single direction path track. Block signals can be used for bidirectional tracks and once in a single direction track path.

The train signalling issue is due to the signal seeing a train in on any of the connected or crossing track before the next signal on that track segment. To prevent that, place a signal before a track switch or crossover and on both exit tracks after the switch or crossover. That should avoid creating any new looping signal blocks.

I think dissolved silica recipe is way underrated. I made radio control unit factory which requires high speed connector and eventually requires circuit boards aswell Which both has a recipe with silica in it and also radio control unit requires quartz crystals ,dissolved silica recipe gives both with enormous amount like if you max overclock and slooped refinaries -which gives dissolved silica- You can make 1 to 1 silica ratio with dissolved silica,in total per refinarie gives 300 quartz crystal and per blender gives 675 silica more than enough
