The Secret Mafia - Sacra Corona Unita Apulia Mafia
The Sacra Corona Unita - the Unknown Apulia Mafia
One of the criminal organizations that is least talked about and perhaps least known about is the Sacra Corona Unita, a group that found its birth in Apulia or Puglia in Italian in the early 1980s, although the events that led to its creation start much earlier.
The Sacra Corona Unita, in fact, is not an indigenous criminal organization, but rather descends directly from the Calabrian 'ndrangheta with the aim of coopting the better of other groups in the territory. The criminal influence over Puglia was in fact shared by Cosa Nostra, the Camorra and the 'Ndrangheta starting in the 1960s, with Cosa Nostra running activities in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce, the Camorra in Foggia and the ‘Ndrangheta in Taranto.
Puglia was a very desirable territory for the various organizations, since it had become the core center for cigarette smuggling - it has a huge coastline that allows people to land during the night virtually unseen, as well as being one of the places where mafias in other regions recruited new recruits to add to their ranks.
In particular, the goal of the 'ndrangheta in Puglia was to get prevail over the Nuova Camorra Pugliese - a direct descendant of the Nuova Camorra Organizzata, run in the same manner but autonomous from the parent group -, which was born from the idea of camorrista Raffaele Cutolo to expand into the Foggia area. You likely have seen our video on Raffaele Cutolo - if not, you should definitely check that out!
Some sources report Christmas Eve 1981, others May 1, 1983 for the initial founding of the Sacra Corona Unita. These are the two days that are marked as the historic moment of the creation of the Sacra Corona Unita. This criminal outfit blossomed as a result of Giuseppe Rogoli -who was in prison at the time of its founding. Rogoli is the criminal who asked for and received permission from the ringleader Umberto Bellocco (founder of the first 'ndrina in Puglia) to create a new criminal group in Puglia, more independent from the already existing 'ndrangheta.
The choice of this name finds its origins within the culture of the criminal organizations themselves. "Sacra" refers to the fact that to join the clan one must perform a sacred ritual, similar to the baptism of a child in the Christian religion, "Corona" for the similarity between the affiliates and the beads of a rosary, and "Unita" for the strength of the cohesion of the group itself.
This organization grew in the background because the fact that it was newly formed kept it under the radar for a long time. The seemingly minor threat it could present to society caused it to gain ground on the other organizations without any particular specific event that brought it to prominence.
What may have prevented it from becoming even more powerful, however, may have been the ongoing, and above all not insignificant, conflicts among the various internal groups, but not only that. There was also difficulty among the affiliates in keeping the information they received secret and, perhaps, also being the last organization to appear and being preceded by the other mafias. In addition, the autonomous management of the families led to little coordination, which weakened the broader organization.
A combination of factors that generated quite some chaos, until, in order to try precisely to heal all these problems, an almost compulsory internal reorganization was carried out, which led to the rebirth in the form of the New Sacra Corona Unita. Unfortunately, this process did not resolve most of the issues that had been the reason for the crisis.
Even at the end of this period, the territories, over which the "fourth mafia" or Sacra Corona Unita imposed its power, are the same as we mentioned earlier, with precisely the SCU replacing the other criminal organizations from neighboring regions. With one notable addition, the province of Bari which we did not mention earlier.
And if before there were different criminal groups depending on the province or slice of territory, from now on the same areas could be divided equally, but thanks to the internal divisions of the Sacra Corona Unita. Each piece of Apulia, in fact, is run by a minor organization, but still linked to the Apulian Mafia, which, however, did not fail to have connections with extra-territorial criminals as well.
The three main ones can be summarized as the Foggian Society, the Bari Camorra-which has nothing to do with the Neapolitan one-and the Sacra Corona Libera. There are also other smaller groups that run the other parts of the region. Starting with the Foggia Society, this was born right at the end of the 1980s (in 1989) and, in addition to Foggia and its province, it also has interests in some regions of central and northern Italy. It could be said to be a descendant of the New Organized Camorra rather than the Sacra Corona Unita.

I divorced a man that was born into this did not know until the divorce was in process. Where he's at in Canada they're trying to ignore what we filed here in the court's. The cops have called me threaten me. our cops call back and try and talk to them now their cops have gone asylum. Canada is the weakest link in all of this. Take the bribes they'll take everything they want. No Canada's not gonna do anything to stop them therein lies the problem. Keep this up
Thank you so much for your videos on the’Ndrangeta.Obviously, they are very well organised and know exactly what they are doing. I like to know what influence they have on national politians, especially here in the UK. Great stuff, keep it up!
Everyone's gangster until an interesting man with two C's and two L's is here where he is supposed to be
Corona means crown
miss your content, where have you been??? come back!!!
The Otto Strada was built by one family I now know that that family was the guy that I married and I just recently got divorced. I've been getting cyber stocked we've gone to court I see all these Italians coming shown up from Calabria I know that they're showing up because of my ex husband who had ties to this particular family he was born into it do not marry an Italian from collaborate you have no idea what you're going to get yourself into.

This gots to be the most underrated channel in UA-cam. Hope you're ok and Thx for the content
It's been a long time since we've had a video. Are you alright?
This crime organisation focuses on human trafficking. It would be good to make a video of cooperation of this organisation with Ukrainian mafia.
The problem is the Mafia and Calabria has tights with people in Canada canada turns a blind eye to whatever they do ely can only do so much but a lot of it is the culture. Somebody asked a question online why didn't Spain have the mafia like Italy well number one the culture is very different. In Italy it's too patriarchal and until that changes italy will not change but they're destroying their economy as they flee the Italians elsewhere they're going to Canada and screwing without economy they're in Venezuela brazil and Argentina and those economies are not doing so great
Excellent video. Cheers from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
The man pictured in your thumbnail and used as ‘Giuseppe Barbaro’ is not Giuseppe Barbaro that you are talking about but rather another innocent man with the same name. If you do not take this video down or change the images we will be proceeding with further legal action due to the incrimination of the information you are describing for a man who is not involved.
Nice information about chess history, thanks ❤.
Is his surname Macri related to the surname Mori they both from south Italy and went to West Australia
That's weird his last name is Macri and my nana is Mori and she's from south Italy sicily I think I'm not sure but she was born in West Coast Australia
How come you don't mention Ruy Lopez anywhere in the video? AN OPENNING is named after Him and you don't even mention him? Wtf.
He is known by many names amongst La Cosa Nostra. 1. The Phantom of Corleone. 2. The Tractor. 3. The Accountant. He transformed La Cosa Nostra from a violent outfit to a shadowy organization that it was meant to be. For almost 10 years like meticulous book keeper he settled all accounts united all grievance and grudges between families during the reign of Leggio and Riina. Unlce Binnu is the greatest amongst all of Cosa Nostra. Truly the Corleonesi were man of honor. Mario Puzo has left a masterpiece for real lovers of the Mafia.
Is this channel dione? I just found it. Damnit. This channel has some great stuff.
When Mickey Blue Eyes was made actor Hugh Grant said that there were some loud helicopters flying around making it difficult to film. One of the mafia men phoned a government headquarters and asked if the helicopters could clear right away from where they were filming. Almost instantly the choppers left the area. Hugh Grant said there were a lot of mafia members on the set of that movie. Some were extras and some spectators.

A church that teaches only a vague adherence to a corporate view of faith, and not presenting a personal salvation and relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ alone is fraught with fraud and manipulation by a huge, disingenuous enterprise of men who block the way of the One and Only Savior.
#Rhiina
Without the mafia there would be no Church.
Bad channel 😊 and fake asf
Love your videos. Can you do videos on the Corsican Mafia and the Petit Bar Gang, who is considered a true mafia in Corsica as of 2022
Sorry but with respect, his first murder was of a fireman who intervened when Cutolo nearly hit a group of women with his car. When one woman objected, Cutolo slapped her, causing the fireman to intervene, who Cutolo promptly murdered. It wasn't over Cutolo's sister.
So clean

The Pope is fake and so is his speaking out against the Mafia. The mafia and the Papacy are simply living by the Jesuit oath and while outwardly speaking and bringing about peace, inwardly do not care about Godliness or Jesus Christ, but to assure that in whatever ways necessary, Rome will rule the world again and She will for a season until Christ returns and the truth is revealed once and for all.
Hello what sources did you use ?
From what people say he was more like Pietro from gamorrah and acted with reason before spite. Unlike Riina. As statues in Denaros memoirs which were found, he was born into this. Riina killed that boy. Even if not with his own hands.
It's not pronounced E-L-O but Elo after the guy who invented the system Arpad Elo.
Addendum, in 2022 - 23 Carlsen was for the third time ttrippel WC (classic, rapid and blitz)
What are your sources ?
How come you haven’t posted in so long?
Great show, episodes are not lonh and dragged out.
Why did he say Castilian instead of saying Spanish?
Great history and current information but can we have some more of their crimes !
feel like everyone in the mafia is the "boss of bosses"

I am from Lecce… really accurate, congratulations

Pork or shellfish is coeerced FDA approved "food"
And yet who really is the new Boss since Di'matteo's arrest ..
Michael talks a good game christ he couldn't kill his junkie brother who put his OWN Father back in Jail ...He's gutless asca fart in a space suit ...unlike Sicillians whereby they are ruthless to the core !!!! Also just for talking sake if Calegero hadn't been killed at the Cavatiao massacre . Wouldn't it correct that Calegero be The Boss when Riina was arrested !? ..
