There is absolutely nothing mysterious about Biblical "tongues" - and there is only *one* type - when referring to something spoken, they are nothing more than real, rational language(s); usually, but not always, unknown to those listening to them, but always known by the speaker(s) - it’s their native language (in some cases, it is a language the speaker has learned). _Nowhere_ in the Bible is modern tongues-speech advocated or evidenced. ‘Tongues’ (read, *‘languages’* ) - the divine gift, is the God/Holy Spirit given ability to effortlessly learn to speak and be understood through real-language barriers. It is not xenoglossy (as many people incorrectly assume), nor is it the self-created non-cognitive non-language utterance of what certain Christian denominations are producing today (modern tongues-speech).

All of the believers must accomplish (all) those five sequences . Please read 1st Corinthians 12:8-10 about the nine spiritual gifts. So, it’s conceivable to conclude that not all people will have all these gifts. Above all, if you speak in tongues you should be able to translate. What good is it if we concentrate on “tongue) but have no love will encompasses all?

There are 5 spiritual mandates 1. Cast out demons, 2. speak in (new) tongues , 3. pick up serpents with no consequences, 4. drink deadly poison with no consequences, 5. and lay hands on the sick . So if the person only does one of the five, then what? Very high percentage of the so called Christians speaks fake tongue or use the spirit, not being used by the spirit. In a reasonable conclusion, it’s not about the tongue but all of the above.

The apostles were able to speak in the individual native language of their audience. It was not jibberish that no other person on earth could understand.

Not true the Bible clearly states speaking in tongues is an unknown language meaning and unknown language not gibberish
