Hello, first of all I have to say congratulations for a perfect discovery 3! such a smart inside. I have serious questions about the system... Have a wonderful day!
Can you set the spider awning up with the roof tent fully set up and do you have walls for the spider awning? Very cool and clever ideas. Looking something similar on my Discovery 2 in the future..
Ron Burgundy called he wants his flute back.
Discovery 3 + 4 best ever👍
I was hoping to see inside of the tent
Whats the roof top rack & fridge you used? bought and LR4, looking for set up. Are you running aux battery for the fridge? Thanks for the awesome video.
I have a dometic cfx40 for years and not needed a 2nd battery. I usually drive daily, but it has run the fridge as long as 5 days once by accident.
Deleting middle seat for fridge is a great idea
What is the name of the roof rack?
Buenas sería tan amable y me dice que nevera o refrigerador es gracias

@@karolczajkowski404 identyczny, bo ten sam 😊
What rims are those? They're great! I'd love to know the manufacturer
Made in Italy, 18" for Brembo brake caliper, using in petrol version

Yep, I’m jealous. That’s a rockin’ setup!
Perfect setup!!!!
😮 👏👏👏👍
Hi. Lovely job on your Landy ! 👌 I’ve just bought a similar one and plan to do a conversion like the awesome one you’ve done - could you please tell me what fridge unit that is ? And what did you do for a charger system/battery/inverter etc ? Thanks a bunch. Steve
I'm starting on the same venture. How did yours go so far?
@@kdzine me too, though I for the LR3 and gas consumption is horrendous and I'm in Canada and had is really expensive! Any ideas?
Looks just like my dometic cfx40 which fits both the center and outboard seat spots. I like the middle for access from the front seats, but I usually run with it behind the driver seat for easier access while camping. My large dog also prefers having two adjoining rear seats ;-)
Need info on the rig setup!!
Uniquely re-designed Land Rover Discovery III, V8, purposely built for long term, overland expeditions, in different, even extreme climate conditions. Build based on our personal experience collected during numerous overland expeditions and long distance rallies, like Transsyberia. Powerful V8 engine (300BPH) makes possible smooth and quick long distance transfers, at the unparalleled comfort level compared to other overland vehicles. Additional fuel tank offers the range of over 1.100 km. (190l. combined) and the fuel transfer pump can be operated while driving. Car was build having in mind the option to host 4 people (kids or friends) on board for shorter trips, or two for longer (difference due to maximum gross weight limits of 3,5 T). Therefore it has the roof tent for two and simultaneously deployable full size internal bed (140x200 cm) once the rear sits are folded down. The owner then has the option to choose one, or both solutions, depending on individual preferences. Although the car was built as a demo, it was fully tested during a 3 weeks, 2.000km trip in 2016. All modifications made were done in a way to minimize the impact on original parts and equipment. Original LR accessories were used, whenever possible. No modifications to the electric and electronic systems were made (except the electronic module replacing the original air suspensions ECU, once the air springs were replaced with traditional ones). No drilling, nor cutting/welding of the car metal structures. Only existing fixing points were used for internal/external equipment installation were used. All the electric/electronic accessories are powered from a separate and independent circuit, separated from the original car’s electric system. The whole roof rack is easily removable thanks to special system of quick and water tight connectors, so it can be left suspended in the garage, when not in use. The same applies to the rear cargo space unit (kitchen drawer), which can be disconnected and removed within 30 minutes, leaving the cargo area as originally designed. Thanks to this design features the car can quickly be converted from expedition setup, to a daily use - if necessary, allowing even entrance to the underground garages with 2 m height limit.
