I don't mind the look of the cars ,but I think it to low to the ground go over a speed bump ,or a pothole in the road it could damage the car. Like I said nice car, really really nice car ,but the speed bumps .

Totally agreed. It stands to reason - not all replicas are equal - but the very best of them make the original outdated by comparison. You cannot beat progress and proper modern engineering. Shoddy copy kits exist for sure, but some blokes are simply building a better car - period. Valued or not..

Lee Holman fired up his GT 40 inside the original Holman Moody shop back in 2001 for me and two co workers. Pretty stought sound in doors .

PS the engine is a Ford racing 427 with a Fast fuel injection 8 throats system. Bundle of snakes headers, and use to have straight pipes. Trans is a Quaife racing 5 speed.

My old GT40 !! Loved that car. Saw many car shows and Shelby club events here in LA. Was a lot of fun. Made a ABC news spot on opening day of Ford v Ferrari and also a Bloomberg article on Super cars. Miss the fun I had with it. So nice to see and hear it again. I have the info board and pics I made of the original 1965 Sebring race car with Ken Miles and Bruce McClaren driving to a second place overall and first in class. I copied the livery and number from that car. The board I made has the original signature of Peter Miles. Charlie Agapue, Aaron Shelby, Bob Grant and Peter Brock from a Peterson museum Shelby event for the movie. All fun stuff.

Hillbank/Superformance cars are not Shelbys. The minute you buy one, it starts losing value. You can get a Superformance Cobra used for less than $50k. I'm an owner of an authentic Shelby Cobra and amazed at the number of people who come to car events and like the cheap copies better than the real thing. They know nothing about cars. They are not classics, just overpriced copies with inferior parts, etc.
