Have you ever watched Sober Plant Guy’s channel? He grows mostly Hoya. His mix is very inexpensive, goes a super long way and since I’ve switched it’s been a game changer. His videos are just great in general and I’ve learned so much since being new to Hoya. At least watch the soil mix one and see if you think it’d work for you! Love watching you and keep it up:)

Happy Birthday. I had my 75th a week ago and also treated myself to several new hoyas. Some of them were only 5.99 in 4 inch pots. I have 8 new hoya babies in my tiny plant nursery on my kitchen counter. Two of them are just my own cuttings from mother plant to make mother plants fuller. One is a Sarawak which has been on my wish list for a very long time. I just subbed to watch how your wee babies grow.

The only Scindapsus in my collection is the 'Platinum' and it is pretty new to my collection.

I find scindapsus very easy to root! I have rooted them in perlite and also directly in soil. They don't seem to root well in water. You could cut that stem into individual leaves/nodes so you will end up with a full pot. Put them in a pot with damp perlite or a good quality soil. Place the pot in a sealed ziplock bag & inflate with air. Place the bag on a heat mat and you should start seeing roots in 2 weeks. It will be ready to take out of the bag in a month and should be well rooted. I like using clear pots so I can see the progress. I have rooted 6 or 7 varieties of scindapus this way! It works every time!

Hello Grace from Puerto Rico!!! It happens to the best of us. I have most of my Hoyas in pon and/or leca. I have a preventative spray: diluted neem oil and castile soap. Spray it down at the shower. You might have to prop them. First timer on your channel and just subscribed. I recently started my English speaking channel and would appreciate your support. Thank you!! 🪴🪴🪴

Hi, I find rooting Scindapsus in moss fairly easy. It also roots quickly that way. I mist the leaves for hydration while rooting too.

Love all of your new plants! I’ve recently become Anthurium obsessed lol. I think they do best in taller vessels. I’m using fluval stratum and perlite topped with sphagnum moss and they’re all doing so well. Thanks for sharing all your new additions with us. You’ve got yourself a new subbie here 😊

May I suggest you put your Hoya cumingiana on a circular trellis? You might change your mind...mine went from crazy to cute that way😉. You have a beautiful collection and it was great to see all the progress - it's been a magical growing season! (Sorry about your Goldfish plant! I've tried and failed 3 times with that one and could never get the watering down - all succumbed to root rot. And the melano - just plain drama for everyone.) 👏🏽🪴👏🏽

Oh, your Moonlilght is gorgeous! Huge leaf size and the shimmer is so beautiful! I have not had the best luck with that one. My first one was completely stagnant for more than a year. I recently got another one and am making an effort to really keep her happy. (all my plants have cover pots - that's half the fun!) 💚🪴

I started buying my pots lately and it does make the biggest difference ☝️

Beautiful and EASY! dragon scale isn’t so much easy but you gotta know its quirks. Love high humidity, high light, and like to be fed ALOT. I have killed two and successfully growing my third in homemade pon. It’s actually got several leaves and growing a big new one! Also, autumn ember is on my list too… soooooo gorgeous. 🧡
