Oh my. What should be a simple cutout often turns 'interesting'. I thought I'd do this removal without the vac. It definitely took longer, but it was fun doing it 'old school'. You just need different tools. Those girls sure were crowded in there, no wonder they were so grumpy! Rain didn't help any. But God is good, had just enough time to do the essentials!
Swarm at Debs 4 27 19
Переглядів 3505 років тому
4.27.19 My friend Deb called and another swarm was by her house, and not from her bees! It was a nice, gentle swarm about 14ft up a tree. Only challenge is that she uses 8 frame Langs vs my standard 10 frame equipment. No big deal. Dropped most of them in a bucket, vacuumed the last couple thousand, and they have their new home! As I said in the beginning, 'hold my beer and watch this'! Too bad...

Feeding Africanized Bee Colonies
Переглядів 1,4 тис.6 років тому
Everyone thinks Africanized Bees are impossible to manage. In this video, I show how to do one simple thing: filling frame feeders in colonies with AHB. There are just a few things to keep in mind: firm smoking and doing it before they get angry, don't "thump" the hive (vibration!), and don't dilly-dally. With these simple practices, AHB are no more aggressive than EHB colonies.

Let me introduce Nick and his team from animalremover.com , they are the largest bee removal service in the SW Ohio/SE Indiana/North Kentucky area. They got the Everything Bee Vacuum in May and have done a cutout every other day for 3 months. In their words, it has 'revolutionized' their cutouts. It saves them significant time , has incredible capacity (12 lbs of bees in each container!), and t...

Bee Colony Walk-away Split with Agressive Bees
Переглядів 10 тис.6 років тому
This colony was from a cutout only 4 months earlier and had filled 3 mediums here in Texas. Quite prolific but also quite aggressive, downsizing them will calm some the aggressions. But you can see the method for doing a split. Also, notice that I did not need to move them miles, only a few feet. Note that one split gets a top entrance and the larger split gets a new bottom entrance (some bees ...
20 cent Hive Ventilation Solution

With the heat of summer, colonies will get hot and want ventilation. It helps cool as well as remove moisture from drying nectar/honey. This is a simple strategy a good friend Russell taught me a few years back.

Everything Bee Vacuum in Use

Here is unedited video of a cutout under a mobile home using the Everything Bee Vacuum. Notice how quiet it runs. Notice how nicely it fits between comb and how quickly it sucks up large numbers of bees. Go to the end to see how easily the bees and brood are reunited. See more at allmybees.com . And a special thanks to my good friend Robbie Warner for videoing this.

how do you stay calm with such. i have a hive that is just like that. am in zimbabwe
Hello! There are several factors that go into this. Always first, my trust in a loving God who watches over me always. Second, I have modified and trust my protective equipment (suit, gloves, boots, sleeves, a few headwear gear underneath) to minimize the stings. Yes, I get stung, but in the past I've gotten 100's of stings without problems at once. My body tolerates it well. Another thing is that I love my bees. And I know that they HATE me, but that hatred is only because they love their own colony enough to sacrifice their lives to protect it. So it is a love-hate-love relationship. Note that I talk to my bees, and it really helps to keep my mind clear. That is not to say that sometimes, even after years, the bees "get in my mind" and i have to walk away for a few minutes to gather my courage again. It is not something you start with, but rather build to having the patience to work like this.

Hi! Just call us, 512 995-0058. AllMyBees.com .
@@tonyandric4380 Do you have a WhatsApp number? I tried sending an email but I haven't received a reply as yet.
Can it be fixed
Hi Beckie. We can repair them. Just call us. We can sell parts, or you can send the head in and we'll fix what's broken.
I had my bee vacuum one year😢 .Don't work
Can you fix it
I posted this on the old video by accident. : I LOVE this vacuum. I just used it for the first time and only 3 bees died in the vacuum. I’m so impressed.

I bought my Everything Bee Vacuum from you at the Bee Expo in Louisville, KY in January and I think it’s amazing!! So easy and for a 60 year old to manage. Thank You For Creating This!!!
Thank you Carolyn! Countless hours/days/weeks/months/years have gone into the design to make it what you have. Our goal is to take as much of the 'work' out of doing removals, and replace it with "FUN". Sounds like it's doing that!
LOVE mine!!!
Man that is a wonderful invention I love it I just wish I was still able to work I would definitely buy one if I had the money
Those bees were relentless.
You should do this video with real bees
Just got mine today
Fantastic! Let everyone know how it works for you.
It was nice meeting and talking to you at the Bee Alive Beekeeping Conference in Slidell Louisiana yesterday. It may be next spring before I get to use mine. Hope to see you in Kentucky.
Version sympa ! 🐝🐝🐝 👍
Bonjour de la France. Merci Tony pour cet aspirateur.🐝🐝🐝 C'est Charlie Bee qui m'a fait parvenir votre adresse !
Thank you! Charlie is a good guy. And I do ship everywhere, including France. You can email us at sales@allmybees.com .
I jsut order vacuem gen 2.5 i think.cant wait to get it.
I just ordered mine today. So tired of my box it big awkward and kills about half my bees bc of my vacuum with too much pressure Will return and let you know once I get to use it on a hive
Which version or package is the vacuum you are using? I want to buy, but not sure what has it all, like that adaptor to move to the box.
Hi. That video is the Gen1 vacuum, we are now selling the Gen 2.5. The 3" PVC adapter is no longer used. This video shows one method of emptying the bees with the Gen 2 / 2.5: ua-cam.com/video/TJbdetsaXow/v-deo.html . Call us at 512 995-0058 for more details.
Very interesting unit. I was disappointed that I didn't have the time to visit with you and see it in person at Hive Life. A six hour battery life is definitely impressive. Thank you for sharing and I wish you all the best. I'm understanding why Mr. Ed finds it beneficial for cutouts.
Good morning Frederick! Thank you. Hive Live had so much to see, it was amazing. I have been improving the design for about 5 years, and now it has every feature you could want. Yet it's simple enough for a beginner to benefit as well as a professional to use daily. Note, I love my africanized bees down here in Texas and have developed my own method of caring for them, which is part of why the vacuum has to be super-capable. I look forward to meeting one day.
@@tonyandric4380 If you'll be at Hive Life 2024, I hope you'll be willing to do an interview with me :) I ran into Steve Repasky last Saturday and he called me out of a lecture hall just so show me your hive-vac. I was impressed, and he loves it!
@@tonyandric4380 Oh! Gen 2 is Sold Out and we're in the middle of swarm season :(
@@FrederickDunn Hi Frederick. I do plan to be there and would love to do the interview. Honestly, once you've used my vac a single time, no other vac compares. Might also look at a second chat talking about managing mean bees. I'm in central Texas and AHB genetics dominate, and I've taught a class at several schools covering how to safely manage them.
@@FrederickDunn I need to update that... we don't have Gen 2 any more, we now sell Gen 2.5, and we are running only about a week behind on. I've got 3 guys building them for me and barely am keeping up!
🇧🇷 por quantos metros da colmeia elas permaneceram esvoaçando em torno de vc? No Brasil temos abelhas africanizadas, mas não desse jeito. Benza Deus! Adoraria ter abelhas gentis. 🤔😏Toleraria a baixa produção delas...
Very thanks 🙂👍
Hi how much for a bee vac like that
Hi Philip. We now offer the Gen 2.5. It starts at $370. You can see more options at AllMyBees.com . Thank you.

*cross posted from another video* Hey Tony, I'm searching for some info on keeping Africanized bees. I have about 7 hives living in the walls of my home in Belize, Central America & need them moved. Would be great if I can get them into some boxes for harvesting but they are extremely aggressive and the slightest vibration or noise sets them off. Any suggestions or direction you could point me in? Thanks so much
That hive is down right nasty!!! I can open my hives and lay my hand in them. Sorry to say but that hive would have to go before the drones pass those genetics to other colonies. Best of luck! Thanks!
Where do I buy and what price
Hello Peter. You can see more at AllMyBees.com
When is the Gen 3 coming? What features would you like to add?
There really is very little that I plan to change. Gen 2.5 has evolved from a number of improvements that make it absolutely fantastic. I'm not planning to add a flying drone to levitate it and a phone app, so you can do removals from your recliner. I'm sure there will still be more little changes I'll want to make. But here's the sad truth, here are the 'real' changes I fear will come to it: it will be required to have a 'vaccine-safe' sticker and add a '0' to the end of the price due to all of my component costs going up, if I can even get them. For example, I had to redesign my control board with a new microcontroller because the one I used before had a lead time of 400 days. Ugh. If there is a Gen 3, it's at least a year away.
I'm here near the southern border of AZ and you just need to deal with the hybrid bees... You will have good days and you will have bad days.. I know some keepers that spends hundreds of dollars requeening their hives each year... not financially worth it....
I just received my unit this evening and I'm more than impressed. As someone who's tried to create a "nice and easy" bee vac and only ended up with an "it'll do" this thing is stellar Between the swiveling nozzle head, the girthy hose and this little controller with the easy read battery life indicator I'm already convinced that I'll never end up breaking the unit I've been using out of the bee barn again. Oh and the fact that its BATTERY POWERED and a backpack? you had me drooling before I had my hands on one but now that its here?? Very happy customer thanks tony
What gloves do you use?
They are callled "PVC Gloves". Try harbor freight, about $8. Cuts my stings to the back of hands from 100's to just a few.
very informative. Thanks. Trying to vacuum one tomorrow.
NO way I would want that to replicate, even those drones will ruin the temperament of all future colonies if they breed a new queen. Dangerous should be eliminated like a mean bull not allowed to make more.
You designed and built this?
yes

@@tonyandric4380 it’s doing the same thing to me how can I order
@@6lueboy921 I'll have to look into this. Call me this evening, 512 376-0003.
You need to re-queen i'm thinking
Just ordered, ready to put it to use!
Pinch the queen, wait a week then go through it and tear down any queen cells and add a frame of eggs from a calmer hive. I'd shake those drones and destroy as many as I could also. They carry that mean gene. 2 months it will be a totally different hive.
If you haven't lived in AHB areas, you cannot understand what happens. Sure, you can replace the queen. And 90% of the time (at best) they'll kill her anyway and make a new queen. And if they accept her, 80% odds that within 12 months, they will replace her and the new queen will breed 80% with AHB drones. It gets very expensive and is a very uphill continuous battle. I am not creating this climate, I am simply surviving in the climate that surrounds me.
@@tonyandric4380 I understand what you are saying. But we all need to work to minimize this killer trait. If you dont it's never going away.
@@Warren76317 My goal is to keep treatment-free colonies with high survival rates. I lose under 5% of colonies each year. Temperament is very low importance. Isn't it wonderful that we can agree to disagree on each of our priorities?
You say it's hard to keep bees gentle in Texas, You ain't helping matters keeping AHB. I have a few mean hives and if they get any more meaner they get a trash bag. Mine aren't anywhere as mean as this bunch. lol Good luck, hope they don't kill ya.
My vac is set to arrive on Wednesday. Can't wait... also have a cutout set for Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to test it out. Thanks again. Also enjoyed speaking with you.
I just ordered! So excited.
i want a queen!!!??!
I couldn't see what you were doing through them little basterds burn em
I would like to order one of your Gen 2 vacuums thank you
Oh hell no--hahahah. For me, it's not worth keeping bees like that. Even if they produce more. Have fun my friend
If I owned this colony, I’d destroy it by fire , burn it till there’s nothing left. Very bad bees are dangerous to other humans and animals , best thing you should is cull this colony, not good.
What is the price?
Good I am intresting in your beevac how can I order one from you
