To tell you the truth DMC 5 isn't as good as DMC 3 and 4 ......story wise.

I only played two parts, DMC Devil May Cry & Devil May Cry 5, and they were the most enjoyable games. I have not played the rest of the Devil May Cry series.

I don't know why DmC gets so much hate. I remember burning my graphics card playing that game. It was a blast. Still DMC 4 is the best imo.

I don’t understand why the first game is so highly regarded. Yeah it has the fun combat and portrait ghosts and everything, but a lot of the exploration feels super redundant, it takes way too long to get from one point to another. The bosses also vary weirdly in quality. Chauncey is fine, pretty basic, yet creative, that weird goopy guy is kind of just there honestly, not bad but not good either, Boolossus is a disgrace and King Boo is by far the best boss. Speaking of Boos, they suck in this game. The fact that they can have up to 300 health and run from room to room makes them REALLY annoying to deal with. But hey, just an opinion
