I will say you make some pretty good points about Receiver 2. I love it to death, and it's really. An underrated and under-viewed game. I don't see many people talking about it, I barely know anyone that I've come across randomly who knows or at least heard of it. It draws me in every time. It's.. Appealing, not because of the guns or that I get to shoot with those guns (Except you. Yeet Cannon >:[ ) . Or that the TC mod is fun but also hard. But because, honestly it's sorta relaxing. It's like a brain training simulator. It gets you thinking, it gets you to stop for a moment. To know that you cannot just go in blazing. To, properly think about how to progress on top of the gun mechanics. The game asks skill from the player. And you can either sharpen yourself to progress, or.. You can atrophy, and fade from Awakening. You, the player, are the biggest roadblock to overcome. And that's, kinda special. 99.99% of the ways you die in Receiver 2, are usually a result of your own doing. Whether by not slicing the pie well enough, misjudging a jump or momentum, timing your peeking or hacking incorrectly. The improper use of your firearm, and more such examples etc etc. The player can either learn from their mistakes, from themselves. Or they can, not see the point. Their mind's eye dulled to the possibilities that they can achieve. That they are strong, or that they can become stronger. To mentally overcome whatever looming threat (Haha) is over them, and prepare themselves to become better people. To themselves, and to those around them. To become, a True Receiver.

I love the Helbore so much, but i suck with it. I usually end up with the MG IV for the fire rate cause i have a terrible habit of getting stuck in da fite and forget to switch to melee. Awesome video btw!

Interesting that you use the Mk I Helbore, i personally haven't used it much and gravitated towards the Mk II myself. Would you recommend i try the Mk I? Overall, impressive gameplay

What was the original video? I've been looking for a while now.

Man... Playing the game and reading the notes about other characters really make wish there were NPC's. The game immerses you into the lonely and desolate mind kill environment but there are notes of other receivers interacting with each other. There is a community of receivers out there and I wish we got to interact with them in game through disks where they encourage you all the way to stage 5, inspiring everyone to go even further and be enlightened. Even in the compound there are characters that figured that they're not alone. This setting and story has potential for being a great narrative and I love it. Thank you for reading, this was just me gushing about me, self inserting myself into the story 😅
