Every Outer Wilds EOTE Achievement in One Loop
PATCH 13 UPDATE: This patch changed a few requirements for the EOTE achievements, so I ran the challenge again (video here: ua-cam.com/video/MacQ16Xsag0/v-deo.html) The overall route is unchanged but it is faster since you no longer have to do two additional awakenings for Sleep. Wake. Repeat.
All 14 Echoes of the Eye achievements done in a single loop. I came up with this challenge when I noticed you only technically need to die once to get every EOTE achievement, unlike the base game where you need multiple loops. I was still routing it when I heard in the NoClip doc that there would be another update soon, so I waited for 1.1.12 to drop to finalize the route and start running attempts.
Some notes on the route:
• Ghosts in the Machine: The triggers for this are at the tops of the lifts which is why I went up the lift in the first forbidden archive.
• Sleep. Wake. Repeat.: This achievement requires five specific awakenings: impact, falling into water, burning, triggering a bell, and having your lantern blown out. Sadly crushing, strangulation, and exploding didn't count.
• Tubular and Around the World in 90 Seconds: I had to get these in the same lap, doing another took too long. This was the hardest part of the route.
This run was after around 20 attempts. I was surprised that I was able to make the dam wave because I was late getting to the first green fire. I was doubly surprised I got Tubular after bumping into the wall and then getting Around the World in the same lap.

My first spoiler challenge. Got my Desert chests mixed up and died like 6 times to Ganon, but otherwise this run did good. I was able to route in some safeties for myself, and boy am I glad I did.

Unitale Concept - Cyan Mode

It's bothered me that Undertale doesn't have a full rainbow of boss battles. Now, with Unitale I can fix that! Here is my first step to making a boss with Cyan mode, where you control the arena instead of the heart Lua Source: pastebin.com/DKsN8rgE

First reactor: Blue waldo grabs water, splits off and passes hydrogen to second reactor, and then drops oxygen on fusion panel. Red waldo fuses oxygen into zirconium and passes it. Second reactor: Blue and red waldos trade off fusing krypton with hydrogen to make yttrium and niobium respectively.
Did feldspar make this?
This is the most impressive and satisfying piece of fan content I have seen for this game. Super fun to watch while trying to predict your moves one step ahead, and something about hitting all these achievements in a single run feels very in the spirit of this game. Setting up the very last one at the start of the run was also a cool touch, and that tight turnaround for Tubular was stunning. An absolute thrill and a marvel to behold. Bravo!
Wow. That was Wild. Amazing! 😀
Such a bad dlc, cant see anything.. FUN
literally just the same as the red soul expect the camrea follows the soul?
It also ties into patience, where you have to wait and see where offenses will go.
More interesting cyan soul was created in deltatraveller, where you got slower, but you can dodge enemy attacks on enter/z button before it hits you(gives you invincibility for a second). But anyways this one concept looks good 👍
monster: yea get rekt lol bros attack: nah hell nah *swerves*
PLS DOWLOAD!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Movement is always relative to something else; this is just equivalent to normal Undertale but the camera is focused on the SOUL
Waos
Random Dialogue
First in 2 months
I just imagine how you look to the monster when you just stand there as their attacks just decide to swerve around you 😭
Damn, that quick reaction when the dam broke and going straight to the boat for the Tubular achievement was impressive. Took me more than a dozen tries just for this achievement and you make it look so easy lol
I was following a different tutorial for how to get that achievement but I got it first try copying this method ::D
As cool as this mode is, I honestly think it would be on of the most difficult to master.
Wow, impressive planning to make this work
This name look familiar
As much as I like the idea. Functionally it’s no different than red soul mode
How are you able to consistently stay on the raft for tubular? It always throws me off.
i got the tubular achievement just today by following a video on here from "Dan V". just sit in the right spot and you can basically put your controller down
As someone who has this trophy, here's my advice. When the wave hits the raft, use your rocket boosters to boost down on the raft (it allows you to stay on the raft during the initial hit). If you're in the same position he's in, make sure that you'll clear the wall on the right and once you get to the part that sticks out the most, use your flashlight on the two right-most green orbs to get full acceleration to the right to avoid the rock wall. After that, just stay in the middle of the road and you're golden (for the 15 seconds, at least).
@@TheAwkwardGamer I already got the badge now but thanks
Not a second wasted and only one actual death... It's like the devs intended it
Incredible!
This is even more impressive than a speedrun
When you went into the 2nd dream world, I was thinking "Well, they can't kill themselves on the fire to dodge the alarm because they need to stay alive until Early Adopter, so they're going to have to do this section legit, but they also need to get out before the dam breaks so that they can get Tubular. How on earth are they going to do this?". My jaw dropped when I realised you were going to jump onto one of the elevators that you aren't supposed to be able to reach and follow the Owlk down! Great job
BRO- I WAS FLABBRRGHASTED-
I was absolutely bamboozled. I never would have thought to do that in a million years.
Nicely done, GG
You're a legend.
Cyan rule one: don't move
The loop is 22 minutes long, dont? Does this video have any cut? Or what is what I'm missing? Thx for the video, good one!
the stranger moves away from the supernova so you get a bit more time
The devs mentioned in a commentary on a GDQ speedrun that there are certain triggers (such as making it to one of the Forbidden Archives) in the Stranger that add a bit of extra time to the clock if the End Times music hasn't started playing, so that if you make it to one of the archives you're less likely to get pulled out by the Ash Twin Project while you're trying to watch the slides. They figured that if you're exploring the dream world you're probably not going to leave the Stranger for the rest of the loop, so it doesn't matter if the physics and timing in the rest of the solar system is a bit out of synch with the timing of the supernova.
@@Trencha OOoh that's so interesting! I'd love to go listen to that commentary
@@Trencha damn that's pretty interesting, I never realised that. Although it does make sense, it definitely felt like I had a lot more time than I expected in those archives.
@@Trencha Very cool to know! Unfortunately it didn't apply to me the multiple times I would reach a secret archive *RIGHT AFTER* End Times began and I frantically tried to watch the reels but the panic made it hard to fully absorb all of their content ;_;
What a chad
So if you move it hurts you
I love how this kinda related to the blue attacks, and how you're supposed to stay still to not be hit by them. I really like this concept.
Dude that's pretty cool
Soul modes are based on their weapon, ballet Shoes jump, frying pans block, guns shoot, and notebooks have lines to stay in. a glove would be a dash forward to represent quick punches, and cyan would be forced to stay still, but have the ability to cut attacks if timed well. This is different from the shield because the projectiles will still be there, they will just be smaller and not bouncing toward you
So, basically a dash?
@@15_heidune72 A dash and a projectile destroy basically
@@NeverEverWatchThisbasically, cyan can parry but gets cut instead of sent back to the monster?
@@15_heidune72
is that a JoJo reference
Actually, i think that cyan mode is you can't move unless there's attack near you, but you get a dash
BREAKDOWN BREAKDOWN
I like how does it feel blue. We are moving the whole battle field!
I love random dialogue 3
Me when he’s doing josuke pose: 😩
This is really cool I bet you could get some great attacks and it fits with the patience trait
'Random Dialogu-' is that a fucking jojo pose i swear to god
lool like ENAtale
In all honesty, this just seems like a slightly more confusing normal fight.
this is a jojo reference
Very good! There are very interesting attack patterns that can be made for this type of soul!
What I don't get it
The only problem is that it doesn’t really change anything because you just switched you controlling the soul and attacks so really there is only a difference in how it looks
I think it would be cooler if you could push the arena around but projectiles were unaffected, for example theres a homing projectile and the arena has a wall in the center. you now have to move the arena so that the wall is in the way of the projectile and the soul stays safe
Ditto
@@dimentio9833 the attacks move with the box.
@@dimentio9833wouldn’t that be more like an extension of the green soul though
I mean its patient so. U Just dont move, Just wait to the attack to finish. The player is Who move the box and the child thinks that he dont hit him cs he is waiting
