ART VLOG | painting on three meter long canvas from start to finish
hello everybody,
welcome to my channel. This video is from 2023, because I have another channel for czech speaking people so now i am slowly trying to make a translation to english and post them here.
In this video you will see process of my new painting. My biggest painting I made, from start to finish. I will also talk about my art college application and also about “society’s” need to have painting only with meanings.
I hope you will enjoy the video!

Your English is great! I love your style of art
i agree with you, i went to the Chicago art institute to see an friend and their work sucked. i have no idea why they accepted them
Your videos are a great inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing your work!
You are super talented 😍
I love your art! How was your journey to get into galleries and find customers at the beginning?
Thank you so much! I started doing commissions through family members who told their friends, that changed this April when few of my reels and tiktoks blew up and more and more people started following me which lead to more commissions/buyers. About galleries - my first exhibition was through my art teacher who owned a gallery and last two were through a client i did a commission for who knew the owners of the galleries and recommended me. Another planned exhibitions are also through a client who started a gallery and another one was through one of my art friend who knew another owner of a gallery. And the last one was through recommendation from one of my followers who knew a guy :DD so basically everything was through some contacts, clients etc. 😁
I inspire to be as good as u one day, ur art is phenomenal idk why I haven’t found this channel earlier ❤
@@RburtonArt Thank you so much!! 💗
I am in LOVE!! So original and your skills are 🤌🏼⭐
cuties
Your English is good! You pronounce the words very clearly.
@@oogalaboo Thank you! 💓💓
what inspired you to paint about these sisters with different worldviews? i actually really appreciate when people give explanations behind their work, because often a painting might make an impression on you and it's interesting to know why it does, how that effect was _planned_ by the creator, and also sometimes i'm not that great at knowing what to look for regarding deeper meaning in visual media lol (even though i draw myself.....) and it makes it easier for me to learn to recognize it, y'know? anyway lovely painting, i like the implied story behind it and the composition looks really nice.
You're way ahead of where I was at 19-20. You could give me more than a run for my money now, for that matter. Look forward to following your progression.
Interesting idea with the vaseline on the brushes. Presumably it's good for keeping them soft as well as keeping their shapes. Never thought of that. I assume you need to clean it off again before using them.
Wonderful painting. Reminds me of Waterhouse, who is my favourite artist, or one of them
@@dashinvaine mine too!! im always so happy when someone sees the inspiration, I love pre-raphaelites and Waterhouse the most, so thank you so much!
Congratulations hard work, trial and errors paid off. Your joyrney still going ❤🎉
Love how gothic your art looks!
Beautiful work! I'm glad you are painting what YOU like and enjoy. I'm not much for landscapes or abstracts either. Have subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your work.
Your art is wonderful. I'm glad to have stumbled across your videos.
Good proper painting! Nothing wrong with painting on hardboard, either, I prefer it to canvas. Doesn't flap about, and as you say there's no weave to disrupt the details of the painting. (If you like the canvas look you can replicate it by painting the gesso undercoat in two different directions, with the streaks overlapping at right angles, and not smoothing it too much). The old masters often painted on wooden panels. I'm not sure how board are less elegant, either, if they are framed. Very nicely done figures. Preraphaelite vibes. One thing, I would check the perspective of the bowl and vase at the side. If the viewer, as one would presume, is on a level with the figures, then we should be looking slightly down on the bowl, and vase, and see the elipses of their upper edges. The perspective on the books could also be looked at. Some of the top edges and sides of the books on the lower two shelves should probably be in view, (assuming they are meant to be real books) and they should indicate a vanishing point.
kids with such an old and intense face, I loved your work
Hi may i ask what brushes you used ?
Damn, I would love to tell you but I use many different brushes, and on most of them there isn’t a brand visible anymore, I usually buy depending on how they look and how often I go to art shop :D (plus I’m from Czech Republic, so most of the brands are local), but I could give you at least a tip, I like to use a lot of makeup brushes. I have a lot of Chinese-made brushes, so they are very cheap but at least for me they last pretty long time (very important is good maintenance)
Your English is very clear
@@desdemitablet9444 Thank you!💗
Thank you for taking the time to translate your videos. Your paintings are beautiful
your art is beautiful! i adore your style🤍
This is beautiful. LOVE the faces.
👏
Hi, I usually don't comment on your videos (in part because I not really good at writing in English). But I find your videos very calming and peaceful. Watching you is very inspiring. I started to paint recently, I've been doing this as a way to calm my brain and have a moment to really focus. I'm not good and I will never be an professional artist, but I found in art a way to heal and connect to myself. So I just wanna let you know that your videos are great ❤
I’m also not from an English speaking country so no worries! Thank you so much for all the kind words, it really means a lot to me. I actually think that having art just as some kind of relaxing thing to do is many times much better… being a professional artist is so stressful, or even trying to be one, and sometimes it takes the magic from creating art… Thank you once again 💗💗
Wow! Congratulation to your decision to upload your vlogs also in english language! It is breathtaking to observe progress of your art. Your style is inspirative, waking up my fantasy about the story which your paints tell.
Beautiful painting but why the chessboard is 9x5?
It's pretty impressive how your subtle reds and browns work their way throughout this library where we find these intriguing young women. Thematically, this painting reminds me a lot of a 1795 painting by John Hoppner in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC called "The Frankland Sisters", which you can see in their website if you're curious. Your depicted sisters appear to be peering out from their time into ours in a way similar to how Marianne and Amelia Frankland seem to confront us from their time. I can easily imagine one of Sargent's contemporaries observing their enigmatic manner, and deciding to pose them in their family library, and painstakingly capturing them over multiple posing sessions, unseen behind the canvas, yet very much part of the story. It's quite an ability you have to conjure up such a rich, layered world with such realism!! Maybe your teachers should be studying YOU. :)
Beautiful work! I like everything, the color palette, the composition and the meaning! Well done ❤
This is so beautiful, you're an amazing artist ❤
Wow!! I was half expecting this painting to turn out to be a Renaissance study or a Sargent study. Your technique and your concept are both amazing!! I noticed the chessboard, but not the absence of chess pieces. It looked like the women might be getting ready to skip chess and just fight (maybe with swords). You capture flowing Pre-Raphaelite hair and flowing Sargent-style fabric with an old-world feel, but with your own spectacular style. It's cool how you make the colors black and red like characters in the story. Did you start with detailed references for the models, or did you invent them? I agree with your observations about art (and music) schools leading on and accepting tuition money from non-promising students who will have difficulty ever selling their work in the real world (to people who just "know what they like"). Excellent video!!
@@DQ_ArtGroupie Wow, thank you so much for all the kind words! I’m really glad you noticed my love for the Pre-Raphaelites, as their style inspires me a lot. As for my concepts, I usually start by finding references for the poses, and then I implement details that catch my eye, whether it’s the clothing or certain elements of nature. I often have an initial idea in mind, but if I’m unsure about anatomy or composition, I’ll either take photos of myself in the pose I need or look for references to guide me.
You deserve much more views! Also I agree with what you said about art schools in general. I was lucky enough to attend a classical realist academy myself but seen the lazy/ugly modern art pieces in another art program I attended before the academy.
This should have more likes!
I love your video, it makes me really want to draw like you❤
just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT!! i love the way u paint and the style u have, you are amazing! im an art student and this kind of videos always give me a lot of inspiration, thank u!! sending u love from Argentina💗
