I'm glad I saw this review. That saved me some money, because I already bought an Octave Fuzz awhile back that can pretty much do the same thing this one can.

Friends, help me. Is this compressor better than a boss cs3? Does it increase sustain as well? I need an Overdrive and a compressor and this pedal does both but I have doubts about the comp and I don't have it in my city to test. Somebody?

Add a overdrive or fuzz in the chain and it'd make a killer tone.

I gotta say, this pedal has one feature that made it absolutely ESSENTIAL for me for a long time. In the poly mode you can set which strings have the octave effect. So my band had no bassist, I would finger pick and set the octave to just the low E and A strings wet out to a bass compressor and a bass amp and it sounded great. Without that feature my band would’ve ended years before it did. I owe this pedal a lot.

IMO this is one Boss haven't got quite right. EHX and TC have features that are so much more accessible to players, including simultaneous octave up and down. The POG and the Sub N Up have been out for ages as well.

I have a friend that uses this pedal for playing live shows, and I love the tone. I just ordered one for myself. I found a deal I couldn't pass up. I already have an Ibanez TS808 , but I like the extra functions that this pedal has. BTW: Has anyone ever used this pedal with a bass guitar ? I just bought a Precision bass and thought about trying it out with some guitar effects ( I'm usually a Telecaster player ).

I have the older model (which I'm sure is really no different) and it's my bread and butter. Use this under a metal distortion and you get an awesome beefed up distortion. It's a great pedal.

I have a first generation version I picked up used, and it is hands down, the best pedal I have ever owned! Perfect!

Using this on the crunch channel makes for a wonderful creamy distortion

Hi i just bought from ebay one of your EQD Sea machine, it makes a sound at the rates at each tempo, i dont know if its the power supply beacuse it only makes that sound with your pedal, its 9v port qith 100 ma.
