The blue thing? Lol yeah, that's the V-Shift defensive mechanic they added with Season 5. I rarely see anyone use it so when it happens, it's always a surprise. He used it so effectively there that I had to applaud it when the round ended. 😄

Part of that was probably psychological on Gord's part, with the knowledge that night in Kingston would be his last ever on stage. I'm sure it was a struggle for him, especially when combined with the fatigue he'd naturally have from being on tour in his condition.

Yup. He absolutely mopped the floor with Laura's beautiful Brazilian braids. Destroyed me. I had literally zero answers against him. He countered every single thing I tried to do and when I turtled he had the upper hand there too. I laugh about it now but it was so frustrating while playing against him.

And I need to work on taking advantage of Laura's crush counters.
