This channel explores the JONES and VIAU branches of the family tree. Akin to shows like 'Finding Your Roots'. Future episodes will reach across other branches with other ancestors and other surnames.
Personal pictures used when available. All music reflects the era in mention to better help imagine what life was like during that time and help set the stage alongside woven in historical insights. The hope is to get an idea of the person's experience beyond a list of births and deaths. The hope is to make our pasts a bit more inviting and inspiring.

I found the nane JONES on my biological fathers side who i had zero info on but have located my father grandfather great grandfather and sone aunts and uncles and cousins . The dna sample says i am 50 % welsh and my granfdfather was born in Kentucky in the 1910s my father was born Theadore , or Teddy Jones and is from Detroit where he lived and is buried I am very interested in Learning all I can about the jobes family tree which is substantial and filled with secret marriages and adoptions
