Very function setup. If you don’t have water on site, that large water tank will come in handy. Other than that, it’s overkill. I use a 55 gallon drum for my 5 GPM set up and I have never had it go below 3/4 full if even that.

My electric 2175 psi 2.1gpm.. in chart 2.85 orifice.. can i use 2.5 orifice .. is it safe?? Or must we go with 3.0 orifice??

I was told by the manufacturer that putting a 6.0 nozzle on a 4000 psi 4 gpm machine was a better way to reduce pressure for certain jobs than messing with the unloader all the time. This video seems to agree.

Can you run two hoses at the same time off one pump?

It feels like your video and this one contradict each other ua-cam.com/video/3mGkOE6awms/v-deo.html It seems they are encouraging you to use nozzles to change the pressure and not to use the unloader because using the unloader to change the pressure is bad for it. Then it seems the instructor here is stating the opposite? It could just be that I'm confused though, I would love to hear some feedback though.

Excellent! Makes total sense as I put on a 2.5 size nozzle for my 3000psi/2.5gpm machine and sure enough it can't handle the load and stops! I couldn't understand why before this video but like you said it goes into bypass since it can't take it and shuts off the engine to save it from damage! I checked the numbers on the nozzles and the old ones are 3 and they work well but 2.5 won't! Thanks so much for the help!

The tips that came with my 3300psi/2.5gpm pressure washer are sized correctly (the code stamped on each tip ends in "26", meaning 2.6 orifice size), but the 25 and 40 degree tips have "sharp edges". By that I mean the fan pattern is needle-like at the top & bottom edges. These "needles" have a tendency to tear into paint and wood and I can see & feel them even when the pump is off. I can minimize the problem by keeping the tip away from the surface and keeping it moving quickly, but I'd rather the problem not be present at all. Do all spray tips have needle-like edges, or do I need to get better quality tips?

Hello guys. I have a nilfisk Pressure washer with 190bars max pres and 650l/h max flow. The correct nozzle for this is the 3.5 but i already have some 3.0s. Is the 0.5 difference big? Will i overstress the motor? Should i buy the 3.5? Thanks! :D

great info finally got my new Pressure washer but now i have to figure out the down stream set up thing . I have a pressure washer that has the built in chem tank in front and a down streamer injector already built in. Id like to use my current DSI but since there is already one built in im not quite sure how id go about using mine id have to take the one that's in there out I suppose however my DSI would not fit in the area the built in one one is currently in
