can you mount it higher up on the engine guard, tucked up between that gap between the tank and fairing? I was thinking the clamps that would be used to secure the hard lowers is what you could use for the horn
My brake fluids is new do i have to bleed it didnt see yours overflow
What size is that front tire. A 180?
@@PeteGonsor yes

Next time get a small tube of dielectric grease and 'lube' the outside of the boot.
Yep usually do that but was on the road in the crazy heat. Great tip!
i love old bikes. enjoy man.
I'm confused as to why you would remove the overflow hose, it only causes a mess all over the bike and floor. That seems very unnecessary..
@@rickhudson7598 if not you will overflow the overflow reservoir……
I reoiled my s&s air filter this week and now my bike is over heating after i reinstalled it. Added coolant to overflow but after riding last night ,fan kicks on but bike keeps going up in temp ,got up to 242. Im puzzled. Idk if its coolant air bubble or dirty radiator or a leak.
Sounds like a head gasket problem. Hate to break the news to you. Before you blow the engine you might as well do the big bore & cams if not both at less to the cams. There is a new style head gasket that is more reliable. Indian is aware of the issue but won’t own it. Hopefully your under warranty is not go forward with the upgrades.
I did the same mod to my harley style trunk on my Chieftain last year. Very nice addition indeed.
Awesome comparison. Best I’ve ever seen on headlights. Thx! I’m buying
Thank you, you’ve made me feel more comfortable doing this. I can do brakes all day long, I’m nervous about touching my bike
Great video, thanks for sharing. I've never changed my brakes, so I've got a question. Since it's a "closed" system, when you put the calipers back on, is there a need to bleed the lines at all? Is it once the calipers are back on, cap off the front oil reservoir and engage the brakes or do you do that before you close it?
Always bleed the brakes on motorcycles as a good practice. It is a closed system so as long as you maintain a full reservoir you should be good. Always test ride and take it slow.
@@bluezuke860 Thanks for the info! I noticed you had a manual... where did you get it? I've searched Haynes/Clymer and notta for Indians.
Yes based on the manual the post previous was the method explained. After learning more about the bike and the cooling system is how we do most bikes water cooled.
Is this more to bleed the system? Not sure why you wouldn't just add coolant to the tank under the seat 🤔
Yeah not sure what’s going on here

This method is different than ur post from a year ago. Why the change?
See my previous comment. As we have more time with these bike we live and learn.
You should have sucked out what was in the reservoir before you put in the new coolant.
Is that a Grove phi Grove shirt ? 👕 my pops was a founding member
Who’s your pops!
That's tough AF!
Can you give the torque specs for front and rear brake calipers?
Manual states 31 ft lbs
guy Thanks for your super fast reply.
You wouldn’t rather check for yourself so you know it’s right? 🤡
The rice wasn’t cooked properly. It looks like mashed potatoes.
First try on this rice dish, appreciate the tips
Love those Indian motorcycles❣️ They just keep getting better and better👍
Omgggggggg. That looks delicious
What’s that cost installed?
I installed myself. I charge $85hr for labor. If you have the fender pre drilled and light already mocked up; it only takes a few hours.
Fishing line ,instead of floss !

100% Great Job Homie!!!
Ok
I'll bring a bottle!
I appreciate the review. I didn't realize it was hollow and seems cheap for the money.
Me 2 on the music.
I'm struggling to hear you over your background music, mate 🇦🇺
It's a shame they're not detachable, maybe a stainless fastener, but that would necessitate a more serious modification to the fairing I guess
Ty brother
Great video!!
appreciate the follow up! thx for sharing. looking forward to taking delivery of my 22 pursuit in a couple weeks. your videos will be a big help when I start turning wrenches. p.s. respect for changing oil in a white shirt. 😄
Stupid design by Indian, almost as bad as putting the air filter under the gas tank.
I don't think it was
are you in VA? graduated from VT years ago
I was up for a Thursday Game with a coworker. His son played DL for VT.
appreciate video. question ... did M3 say anything about running 6qts of oil?
I didn’t ask them, standard for the bike with filter changes 5 quarts. I have changed oil on this bike 6x start with 4 run it add a 5th and checking for the correct level. Sometimes have to add a little sometimes not.
@bluezuke860 full disclosure .. I was checking out the forums. I've seen it mentioned more than once on the Indian challenger/pursuit fb group. read the early model years called for 6... but the manual changed to 5. no changes to the motor that I know of. again, I'm going off what I read on the site from the reputable contributors. just food for thought
I’ll let you know when i top it off I was a quart short, will be delivered on Wednesday. I’ll video it so we can all know. Thanks for the insight.
Let's gooooo. I'm missing this party
Might have wanted to remove the tank and run the wires in the track to the battery
That option is yours, mine is clean and no issues since install
That’s some bark! Is it douchebag loud at highway speeds?
Was the race only one?
All say not for regular use
