Is there anyway to install after market dip stick? Thinking about doing this my self however i dont have level roads or driveway...

So I actually drove several months with a leaking waterpump, I would check the oil every fill up with gas to be safe. Finally after putting in Bars Leak in the radiator, the leak got really bad and that's when i saw water in the oil. I then parked it for several months and bought another car until I met a friend with a shop that helped me out with the repair cost. I fixed it last year, everything was fine until after about 3k miles I got chain rattle from my new Melling timing chain. 20k miles later she still drives good but still has the chain rattle only when acerlerating. I don't hear it at idle or when up to speed, only when it downshifts going uphill or on the gas.

Hi I like to know if I can get the water pump and thermostat at auto zone if not where can i get them And also mine I need to change the belt soo any type a belt in auto zone will be fine or I gotta get a specific one.

Okay so I fucked up lol. I can’t get mine to move I need to set it at the 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock position on top the bottom lines up at 4 o’clock but can’t get the top two when I turn then motor it turns but stops before a full turn. (I pulled the timing chain off before setting the 11/1 o’clock top ones

What a horrendous decision to design this. Ford should recall for repair at their expense. It’s a ridiculous and will fail with out warning and leave you stranded.

Quick question, do I need to get a caliper compression kit, so it rotates the caliper as it goes back in? I see you did it with a c-clamp, but I don't believe it is recommended to do it that way. I believe a caliper compression kit is needed to rotate the caliper as it compresses... Please let me know if I am wrong or right. Thanks

Shouldn’t you be draining from the transmission RETURN LINE? Not the intake line. A lot safer that way.

Does not work for 2023 Chevy Traverse. The light comes on as indicated and I let almost 20 PSI out…nothing. I’m guessing they changed it for the newer models.

That coolant reservoir tells the whole story. Neglected cooling system. For anyone who has these engines that were produced before 2019- get the orange coolant out, replace it with the new ford yellow coolant. Distilled water and a good flush of the heater core and radiator- in my case, i did 5 drain and fills within 3 months. I figure most of it is out. I essentially change my coolant whenever i change my oil. 5-7500 miles. Take care of these and they can run for a good while.

You can use the key fob to check the lights.

I'm having a problem with my fownstream O2 sensor heater. Found out the ground for the heater is on the first bundle you repaired. Do you think this could cause the check engine light to come on for the O2 sensor?

My brakes are locked. Removed the check valve still locked. Any ideas what can cause that?
