sir, 2k monitor can stream 2k video quality netflix ?

Yeah no this has nothing with my problem my oc fans are just at max, with room temperatures on the cpu, gpu

I have all the requirements tcl 4k tv as a monitor before I was able to play but after many windows 10 update it became only 1080p 2.0 channel audio

I solved this issue with MSI Afterburner. I have the same card and this happend to me twice. One time inside warranty timeframe on onetime outside of warranty timeframe with the replaced card. In my observation the problem seems to be with the nvidia gpu boost technology where the gpu clock goes over the manfacturer stated boostclock. The nvidia boost clock technology seems to reduce the lifespan of some voltage regulating components and mosfets. My solution are the following afterburner setting. Reduce powerlimit to 80%. In the voltage curve editor you have to flatten the curve at manfacturer stated boost clock or reference card boost clock to disable the nvidia boost technology. So now your gpu works under constant voltage and mhz load without the spikes. In my opinion this is planned obsolecence. Maybe these options helps someone. GPU Boost technology is bad in my opinion.

Followed @JaceD4V1S88 's comment and it worked, seems like I had accidentally lossen my pcie cable while cleaning the pc which was attached to the gpu, then I took the other cable which was hanging beside the gpu then reattached it n boom! no more black screen or crazy fan noises, thanks G

Power does not seem to be my issue. It happens when i do nothing and can just 100% gpu without it happeng. Its random but sometimes it happens when i bump my desk.

My 2080 ti is giving black screen after bios screen at the start up. But there is no high fan speeds etc.

UPDATE: SO I FIGURED THIS OUT 100%, IT WAS THE PCI-E CORD TO THE GPU. OFF THE MAIN CONNECTOR BRANCHES ANOTHER CONNECTOR, I SWITCHED THEM AND I HAVENT HAD THE PROBLEM IN MONTHS, SWITCHED BACK TO THE FIRST USED CONNECTOR TO VERIFY AND AS SOON AS I MOVED THE CORD IT SHUT OFF SO TRY SWITCHING TO THE CONNECTOR THAT BRANCHES OFF FROM THE MAIN PCI-E CORD TO THE GPU

Update bios no more error for me.. i use rtx 2060...

i have the same issue with my Gigabyte 4070 Ti Super even on idle just watching youtube the screen goes black and the fan is ramping up. I will try swap the Pcie cable and see if it works i will give a update if it works

For my part it is SOLVED, at first I thought it was the power supply, it was changed and nothing, it kept happening. Then I changed the 12phvwr cable and it was solved. In short, it is a power supply problem, you just have to rule out where the fault comes from.

I have the same problem with my rtx 4090 and even only while browseing the web , something wierd ,I've switched my cpu fan and it seem to have fixed the problem for a few months but now it's back .

Hi, thanks for the viedo, as i investigate, the problem is a bad connexión in the PCIE conecctors of the GPU, for these reason the card in the middle of the connectors and the heat sink do pression in the connector an they don't lose connection, but the best solution is re-soldering the connectors

Can an extension cable to the GPU be the problem for my black screening? I tried to replace the dual extension cable with a new one that carries more wattage but I'll still get the black screen of death during gaming.

Spätestens der 2te Boss erzeugt Frust, bei mir ist das Spiel nach 2 Tagen und 9h Spielzeit wieder deinstalliert. Der Ärger den ich mit dem Game hatte, war es nicht Wert. Ist man dämlich und jung wird man eh von sowas hier bis zur Verblödungsmaschinerie Insta und TikTok u. co. magisch angezogen, vor allem, wenn es "kostenlos" ist.

For me the issue turned out to be a BIOS setting issue. I kept getting an event error hich was due to my Secure Boot setting not being enabled in my BIOS. I enabled it and now it works.

my Asus Duo 2080 Ti does only have 2x8 power cables, not 3 like you. then, the space below my power ports on the card is radiator free -.- cut out somewhat...so no cardboard will fit in there, because of empty space. Does any one figured out if its possible to get the monitor back to life, without a reboot? Because machine is still running, i can hear audio perfectly progressing. Only black screen and gfx fans @100%. Keyboad inputs should be fine also. For now, and the last 3 month, since i bought this fresh refurbished gfx (with new thermo paste and pads) i use in MSI AB core voltage 0%, core&mem clock 0%, power limit 78% temp limit 78°C connected prio temp, and it works stable...should be working with 100% power limit in other games than "The Division 2" and "Resident Evil 4 Remake" RT full, HDR10 @3840x2160@120Hz on my 65" 144Hz Smart TV and 34" UWQHD 3440x1440@100Hz 2nd Monitor (i have an be quiet! DarkPower Pro 11 750W 80Plus Platinum) so cables works fine and an new mainboard+i9 12900k on fresh installed win11pro x64 system... i will try that undervolting tomorrow... it seems that this issue happens when gfx card reaches over +84°C and/or power over 299Watts...i have to find this monitoring switch to turn on inside MSI AB to get some data until the black screen appears p.s. its also well known, that Micron VRam Chips shouldnt be overclocked, because they´re unstable and like to crash -.- and on my gfx are micron's -.-

i got the same problem after trying to service my card :@ open a game and temperature rise so high and fans too, and no display. but after lot of trys i fix it :) its all about your thermal pads. big mm thermal pads make a gap bitween chip and heat sink. So temperature rise high cause no heat sink. Just it. Small problems makes bigs :#😊
