I used to want to fit in soooo bad because I felt like I wasn’t good enough. I had convinced myself that showing up fully as myself was either too much or not enough for the people and places I idolized. He’s done far too much for me to care what anybody has to say. He’s removed those idols from my heart! 🥹😭🙌🏾 I encourage you to stop trying to fit in and start standing out! Ask God to give you a revelation of who He is and how Holy He is. Ask Him to break off the spirit of fear and people pleasing and to give you courage and boldness! ”Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. In a generation that has prided itself on making decisions outside of the will of God, my prayer is that the millennial Christian would decide that we don’t want to depend on ourselves, we want the wisdom of God! This goes far beyond not committing sexual sin. This means choosing to trust God with the job you accept, the person you date, the opportunity you take on, the activities you allow, the things you say yes to, the hidden sin you refuse to stop doing, etc. Many of us are struggling because we have taken our lives into our own hands and it’s gotten us nowhere… But, I challenge you to make a decision today to humble yourself before Almighty God to say “Lord, I trust Your plan for my life. I refuse to be led by this culture, my own way of thinking, and I seek Your wisdom that can only be found in Your word. Open my eyes to see what You are saying. Give me an understanding heart and an obedient spirit.” You can’t afford to not obey God. The wages of sin are death - spiritual or natural. ❤️

It’s not February yet, but the love of God is so real! June 2021, I moved to LA (in obedience to God) with a suitcase, my dog, my car, and everything I could fit inside. June 2022, I celebrated my one year anniversary of God moving me to LA by selling my car. From June ‘22 to December ‘23, I lived as a Passenger Princess 🥰 taking Uber/Lyft/Metro Bus anywhere and everywhere, including work. There were times I had to take two buses to get to work and I did not complain one bit. I celebrated God’s provision for me even though it looked differently! December ‘23, I told God I wanted a car. I had more responsibilities to tend to for work, school, and church, and it was becoming more taxing on me to steward well what I’d been given. Fast forward to January 2024, God brings back to my remembrance an application I did to become a Lyft driver a few years ago. He tells me to reapply and upon my obedience I became qualified to rent a car through the ExpressDrive Program. I picked up the car the same week I applied! Not only did God bless me with a car, He blessed me with a stream of income, AND an opportunity to spread the message of Jesus (all of these were other prayers I prayed to God that He answered)! 😮‍💨😭🙌🏾 I share this testimony to encourage you that God is faithful and He always keeps His promises. When we pray earnestly and what we pray for lines up with God’s will, He will answer! Amen!! God has sent my wife and I to do some crazy things and often I didn’t know how He was going to provide but he always did. I can’t say I’m always right either. Sometime God had told me to go and I didn’t or I didn’t go at the the right time. Maybe I jumped the gun and wasn’t patient enough. But as wrong as I am, God is gracious and good and loves to provide and protect and take care of his children. A wiser question (I think) to ask is am I seeking God? Am I trying to know him? If not then doing stuff is a waste of time. Jesus doesn’t promise safety, but he does want to reveal his heart to His children and when I am up caught up and in love with Jesus I do want to do things for and with Him! God says he sends his lambs to slaughter so yes there is no promise of safety or no danger or having all of the coolest things. Get ready America. I don’t think the “easy” way is here much longer for His people.

If you dont know where youre going and arnt financially stable, dont go. If you really want to travel or move away, make sure you have enough saved up before putting yourself in a risky situation. Keep yourself safe, God doesnt want you to put you in risky situations like that.
