It's so nice for Kipchoge to do this interview If I was an elite runner anywhere near the top runners I wouldn't want to spend hours between coming an going from an interview and back to my quarters.Instead it might be more beneficial to relax walk around and reflect before such a big race.But after the race I'dd be happy to do interviews especially wirh a big win or still in the top 3. Many elite runners have given their time away before a big race including Ryan Hall, Marathon Meb, Shalane Flanigan just to name a few to give to the fans and help the PR of the running community Kalif🎽⛹️

People want Kipchoge to give then some nuanced answers about everything when in reality, Kipchoge just isn’t born with that mindset. You set a plan, you do the training, and execute to the best of your ability To be as successful as Kipchoge, doubts cannot creep into your mind

I don’t think this was the time for some in depth interview. It was lighter hearted as it should’ve been.The questions could’ve been a little shorter, more specific but who am Into complain! Eliud never complains. Maybe these commenters on here need to learn a little from Eliud.

This interviewer is embarrassing. I’m sorry but he should not be doing this . He does not know running and asking 1st grade questions. He’s very overweight too and it’s an awkward fit. Not being a hater but he’s really bad. SO disrespectful to all the other Pro’s including last years winner who’s there to repeat. This is awful.

I enjoyed the interview! I read all the comments. I thought the interviewer was fine. Nothing any interviewer asks or says could ever take away from this athlete. Also, this race is in America and the athlete is in America to run this very American race, I think it would not have been genuine for the interviewer to try to approach the interview in some other frame of mind. They both seemed very authentic to me. I am so excited to see the race tomorrow!!!!! Best of luck to all the athletes and thanks always to the B.A.A.!
